Tesco Misprices Discussion area part 7

I too struggled to fing anything. I can confirm Shrek Superslam on DS scans at £14.94, I bought in error thinking it must be worth more than the GBA.
Another present paid for and extra money in Tesco's tills.
However I did get the Suduko and glad I hadn't paid for it as it is so hard, I have read the instructions and still can't get started.

Well they are closing the ranks fast, but they will relax soon, we have to keep our eyes out. We will keep checking.

is it my imagination..... or..... the dvd's......games.....and cd's..... have less stickers on them now ? ......or is this just a phase ? .......i have noticed that new stock coming in to the stores havent got any price stickers on them....so does the store put the stickers on or are they stickered when they come into the store ?...............

also i know this question is going to sound totally silly.....:rolleyes:

but can you buy hand scanners ? ....on the t.v a while ago they were on about that you can buy a scanner... and scan items that you are getting low on in the house...and then connect it to your computer which will put the order in at hq......

i think i will try and find out that one......ok might have been a silly question, but if they are out there:rolleyes: ...:D

barcode scanners are easily available...the problem is that you would need an active upodate with the Tesco stores database so the sacanner could know the prices and stock levels...which of course will never happen!

They are stickered when they come in. Thats why the stores are slow to spot the errors.

A few of my local Tescos, instead of just re-stickering the games that are mispriced, have rather lazily just taken the price label off. As there is no SEL also, I'm pretty sure this is against the law..isn't it?

......i just thought that maybe as there has been a lack of stickered items in those isles.. that maybe they are not putting them on delibrately.... to stop the r & r's being spotted so easily.....

I haven't been on this board for ages but with new found confidence and several large bills on I think I will give this a whirl again. I will avoid my local store but go to larger stores in the hope of some rewards.

See if you can find yourself - or the kiddies! - some Aero Truffle bars in your Tesco because there are none to be had locally here in Sunny Sussex!

I would love to hear about what will happen when you try an R&R at the Tesco store where they already follow you round for voucher use! Just be careful out there....maybe get your daughter to be sick on the CS desk if they cause you grief!! :rotfl:

talking Aero Truffles, was in Leytonstone tesco the other day found loads of Aero caramels and the SEL for the Aero truffles, but not a single one there or even an empty box..only the caramel ones on display..almost like the whole box had been removed
