 There are GBA games that have been mispriced for over 3 months, Constantine.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
R+R - Overcharges by Tesco surely net one another off.
Why should consumers be overcharged? Tesco make billions every year so why should I feel any guilt about the fact that they overcharge me then argue the toss over giving me my money back?0 -

I don't know. Why do you feel guilt?
As I made pretty clear in my post, I was simply explaining what it looks like from a stores pov. I was not and am not offering that as any reason for difficulties you may encounter at the CSD.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

Didn't think you were still up, Constantine, but thanks for the explanation. I remember boring old KPI's from a previous office job, yawn!
There's also the Shetland Salmon still wrong - first posted by me in July! Feels like some misprices are permanent...
Haven't you got a job to go to in the morning though?Need to get enough sleep to stay one ahead of us R&Rers!
Night all......PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

how ever tescos put down the r & r's waste....refund... whatever.....at the end of the day they overcharged.....took your money.... and then you are only doing what THEY said you can do... have a full refund and keep the product......i dont have sleepless nights about it.......as i personally feel that big supermarkes are just one big rip off merchants.....ask any supplier that supplies them......
plus the village where our local tescos was built 2 years ago have closed down a few local independent shops and petrol stations..and was partly to blame for our business closing...so i know this sound like sour grapes....but ..carry one looking for those mis-priced items....anything to get back at tescos....and find ANY loophole that you can......as tescos and asda etc...are more powerfull than we all think......
and yes i do try and support local traders...where i can.....but when i go to tescos.. i allway try so that they lose on my sales.....:D
sorry if its slightly off topic.... and my personal comments might offend some people....but it is my personal view.....:oWork to live= not live to work0 -
Just had a battle in Tesco over the mispriced Fresh Welsh Lamb. SEL clearly showed reduction from £6.69/kilo to £5.69/kilo, the legs on sale were marked at both prices so i picked up the legs stating £6.69.
Went to CS desk, they went to the fridges and came back with two legs marked at £5.69/kilo and said i could have those as they were marked with the correct price. She stated there were two SELs one wth £6.69 and one with £5.69 i said no the only label there is the one you are holding. So decided to give up and had the lamb refunded. Went back into the store to check the shelf again and they had not changed the SELs, went back to the CS desk and asked for her name as i was reporting it to Head Office. She then said i will call the manager, manager comes along explained the problem, and asked me would i be happy with the two legs of lamb. I replied yes. So went back to the fridges but they had removed all the lamb that had been mispriced so i had to make do with two smaller legs. Still i had £26.00 worth of lamb and will really enjoy.0 -
Personally I'm not out on some revenge mission against Tescos, I don't really care how much profit they make. I see R&R as part of my greater money saving ethos, a "tool" to be used in conjuction with other methods of money saving on this site. Things are tight in our household, like many others on here I'm sure, so I don't want to see R&R stopped, it's enabled us to eat things we couldn't normally afford, and long may it continue. However I'm no loner comfortable with R&Ring purely for the sake of it, I admit I did this when I started out, but if people want tohunt down an x-box or whatever, so what? Live and let live I say, its personal choice at the end of the day isn't it?{Signature removed by Forum Team}0
