As a newcomer to this site, I am not sure if this has been asked before or whether this is the correct thread to ask on but here goes:

What is the pricing policy at Sainsburys. I think I may have been overcharged for something today and would like to know if it is the same R & R that applies as does at Tesco?

Help would be greatly appreciated

no they do not have R&R policy.

Not really, the information is easy enough to find out if you want to, its fun seeing you people guessing what time the prices change when it is obvious none of you really know.

Incidentally, there is a time window between the time that the price change happens and the time that the price change legally has to be displayed.....i'll let you find out how long that window is!!

all the electricals in my local store were absolutely spot on and most didnt have sel's grrrr.. do many people get a bargain when the offers expire on electrical goods or is it just very few and far between?

Hmm well as far as I'm aware you have to display price increases 2 hours before they go live. Price decreases you can display pretty much any time after the change goes live.

The 2 hours for increases is (or at least was) the Tesco guideline. Nots sure if thats legal thing or not. I suspect the legal time might be alittle shorter.

As for the price changes happening at midnight. I would be REAL careful with that bit of information. It depends on the nature of the price change. Some happen at midnight and some happen later.
