  • Mince and Tatties is a favourite in our house. Home-made burgers work too. I literally freeze anything home- made with the exception of pasta (Idon't seem to have much joy with this) anything casseroled or in a sauce seems to work

Home made soup, stews, chillies - all made in slow cooker and frozen in different size portions. Also anything on bogof like muffins, bread, cheese, cold meat. The list is endless. Enjoy!

    Hi Suzy,
I don't cook complete meals, but I do make large quantities of things like tomato sauce, chicken stock, meat sauce, cheese sauce, pastry. That way I have the components for many different kinds of meals. it makes making a lasagne say, a doddle.
    HTH:)

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

If I do a Sunday lunch and there are only the two of us I still do enough veg and potatoes to go along with the meat and freeze several ready meals (if its a beef roast I usually pop a frozen yorkie in with the meal as well).

By the way, I use foil plates then cover completely with foil.
