It's funny....well, maybe not funny but interesting.....that holding a mobile whilst driving is illegal, whereas holding a coffee, or a sandwich etc isn't? I know when you're on the phone you're talking and get distracted but you do that if other people are in the car too - I have been behind so many people who are driving and chatting away to the person actually looking at them, with their head turned!!! If I'm talking to my passenger, I simply don't look at them.

So, maybe we should ban talking in cars whilst holding coffees and sandwiches :rotfl:

Good - I wish it happened more often. Can't understand how anyone thinks you can change gears and steer with one hand!

    Ditto.

I wish more people would take more care whilst driving, a vehicle in the wrong hands is like having a loaded gun.

The Police in my area don't seem to do much for speeding drivers let alone the other illegal acts that some drivers seem to go about.

One man in my town was jailed last week for speeding 60mph+ and almost killing his young son and drove into a front of a house with the car, he lived just down the road from where it happened and said on record he wasnt speeding, yea right, thick black skids marks for about 500+ yards before mounting the pavement and hitting the house.

If people want to kill themselves fine go and do it, but dont involve innocent victims.

if he wants to eat a pie while driving an auto, that could be problematic.
