I am cutting sweet pea flowers from our garden and putting in a vase indoors. Lovely scent.
With sweet pea's the more you cut the more the plant will produce. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Word is Morrisons are going to be doing a £5 off £10 meat spend coupon in the Sun soon.
Ooooh where did you hear this? If its true then I need to start making space in my freezer now. :j
Morrisons seems more expensive for meat than other supermarkets (Aldi) but it is probably better quality and British etc.Getting married September 2015 :j0 -
As to the pound shop pasta. I have found that the price per kilo is comparable to supermarket dried pasta. So check before the price per kilo before you buy
Yep, agreed. Basic pasta bags are around 40p for 500g (sainsburys/Aldi/Lidl), £1 shops are usually not that cheap for pasta.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. One tip that can save money every time is to split the shopping up and buy what is cheapest at each store. You could either use the MSM website to do it or the app. Find out which store each item is cheapest at and get it from there. This works best for people who live within walking distance of every chain, though even if you are restricted to two supermarkets it still works though not as well. I do this with online shops and split an order between two and more supermarkets and will even space them out so that they can act as top up shops as well. The cost of two or three delivery charges can be minimised by bulk buying. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

May have already been mentiedon but I got a bottle of creepy crawly spray for Poundland and found it didn't spray very well - I unscrewed the top and found the tube was far too long for the size of bottle. One snip and it now sprays perfectly, saving me time, frustration and me throwing it away and buying a new one!0

If you have a jar of honey that has gone hard. Scrape it out of the jar into a plastic tub and use it as Body/Face Scrub you can add extra salt if it's not scrubby enough!0

I save my coins up and don't use the coins machines in supermarkets to change the money, this is because they charge a %.
If you know someone who runs a shop they will love your change. You can swap it with them.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
If honey has hardened and you don't want to use it as a face scrub then gently warm it in the microwave or a saucepan of hot water and it will melt back to runny honey.0

Also put in the microwave and zap it for about 50 secs and should be reusable again.0 -

Or you can put your change in the self service tills at tesco and they don't look at you in a funny way for putting so many coppers in.Penny xxx
