Marru, I looked at the cto5k thread yesterday and am going to start on it I think, I am due to get an ipod tomoz (birthday pressie) so will get the podcast sorted and begin probably on Monday (or might start Sunday)....I really hope I can get into it as I need something that I can do and enjoy to get fit.and also that doesn't cost the earth to do..I am thinking running will be good as I can also use it as some quiet me time as my house is pretty hectic/noisy....will let you know how I get on, thanks for the motivation and have a great weekend with bf
Well done! I went for the option without the music as didn't want the music to pace me. See what works for you. :T"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Budgie, take care and hope you enjoy your DS visiting. Fingers crossed for you. x
Marru, it's great you're so enthused about the running and I would never get on the runners thread here so interesting to hear about it - don't stop! Likewise the music, although I haven't actually clicked the clickies yet as I wanted to catch up on here.
I've got a wall of tiredness bearing down on me tonight. AF Day 3 and Tue Wed and Thu of the challenge completed.
All my excess drinking on Monday night seems to be hitting me over the head tonight so off to bed soon. Not before 9 though as I'm not ill.
Sleep well Flimsier and everyone else too.0 -
Am going to declare 3 days af for may pls DB and also tue-thu of the challenge please Sparkles...
Just drinking a brew with a couple of those new biscuty things that are meant to be eaten for breakfast (what's happened to the divvy head smiley! and the rolleyes?)
Hope you get a good nights kip WBF, I am feeling really tired too, I want to stay up and watch the election stuff but don't think I am going to manage it after all....got work in the morning too and I don't usually do Fridays, but need to spondoolies so couldn't turn it down...
In regards to the 'drunk' personality and not liking that person, unfortunately for me I think I prefer my drinking selfwhich is not good really and a problem of a different kind, when I have a drink I do seem to be more happy with the world and relaxed in general, I need to work out why that is and how I can get the sober me to lighten up a bit methinks! maybe the running will help!!
Hope everyone is having a good evening, and Budgie hope ds has cheered you up even more xStarting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
Well, another AF day for me here - I shall have a cup of tea and then watch the first election news, then a little sleep before getting up again to check the results (I love election nights!!!)Trying to keep in budget.

Good going guys.
Gien - I love watching the election coverage too! Really need to get out more..
Sober here today too.
14 days sober as of tomorrow
Went to the homeless charity on Wednesday, expecting to work. Turned out that the Manager was looking to do a proper interview instead. The chap is great, if a little slow..I asked him about vounteering there, last November!
He asked me if I had any questions, as it always goes at the end of an interview - I replied, "Yep. When do I start?!"
We eventually agreed that I'll be working next Mon, Tues, and Thursday. Feels great to have a focus again, and a clear head.
Tomorrow, I'll have a bit of cash (and hopefully a bit more than expected, as my Ebay parcel has finally arrived in Edmonton, Alberta, after taking a week to get through Customs..) so I am going to have to watch out for the monkey, who has a bad habit of trying to hop on my back..
Don't get me started on PayPal, as I'm in a good mood!
Enjoy your evening everyone,
Sim x0 -
3rd AF day in a row for me too.
I'm not going to let the elections lead me into temptation.
by the way Sim, you asked me what record player I'd bought the other day and I hadn't replied.
It's only a very basic old AIWA one but for £10 it does its job and is very quiet which is all I need. I've never been a bedroom dj, so to speak, I just love vinyl.
I've slept really well these last few nights and am glad to have done so without the aid of alcohol or sleeping pilss but I must confess to having had a cheeky lemsip last night. :P
right, back to the impending future of this nation we live in...jusqu'ici tout va bien0 -
Goodnight all.
Sleep well

Never had an election night as an adult without being battered. Looks like I'm going to need to be battered with the Tories winning
Going to bed to avoid alcohol...!Can we just take it as read I didn't mean to offend you?0 -

ShaggyWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
