Soz just felt like no - one was trying - then looked at the list and realised it was better than I thought it was

Apologies all - ignore me feeling a bit fedup tonight for some reason

Think I will go for an early night after waking up in the middle of the night last night wide awake and a non stop day at work again

I do really appreciate you running them. I'm at a point where if I snag 1 AFD from the challenge then it helps me.

But scoring is a lot of work, even on these, so don't beat yourself up about doing it all the time if it's hard work on you

Have a nice chilled early night - maybe a bath? And I hope you feel more sparkly in the morning :)

I have just realised that FUAS is now know as Sparkles, it has been confusing me when I keep seeing '1 more for me sparkles'and I was thinkinng who is this sparkles :) anyway that will teach me for being awol for a while, I obviously missed that....

I love the mini challenges, they just seem more doable than say a whole month etc. I did fail this week though although I should have known that the bank holiday would test me too much.....

HB glad the new haircut has given you a boost ;)

Hiya guys, hope you're all having a great evening.

A quick Ebay question for you..

If PayPal are holding your money in a 'pending balance' / their holding account - Does it automatically become available after their quoted 21 days, only if the buyer leaves positive feedback / the item is tracked as arriving.

Or, is it just released after the 21 days are up, regardless?

    Many Thanks,

    Sim x

Well, 2 items of news; not sure which is the more unbelievable.....

    1. DB my first afd in.....how long? Wheeeee!

    2. Call me jammy.........my liver function test & enzyme test thingy were.........completely normal. I didn't realise how worried I was until he told me the good news. He didn't question why I'd asked for the test and (forgive me, dear readers) I didn't discuss my drinking with him, because, plain & simple, I completely forgot!!!! I was so overwhelmed with relief that I actually FORGOT (also, in subsequent further mitigation, I was in there for half an hour discussing the original point of the blood test & the people in the waiting room looked ready to lynch me when I came out as it was without being in there any longer).

My reaction was not, as might be expected, to swing by the offy for 2 bottles of chardonnay with the thought that I can get away with it. Instead, I feel so relieved (did I mention that?), & lucky, & thankful, that it's hardened my resolve to sort meself out & not keep pushing my luck. 140 alcohol units a week ain't ever gonna do me any positive good (jeez, I must have the constitution of an ox).

In the meantime going to look into support groups myself, anyway. My liver may be OK but the problem's still there....

I didn't half enjoy my dinner, sober! I always cook a proper meal cos I eat with DD & despite the booze I've never neglected my healthy eating but I often think the next day what a waste of effort as I hardly noticed it going down.

It wasn't all good news - my blood pressure's shot up & I'm slap bang in the middle of the menopause - the main point of the blood test!!

Hope everyone's having a good evening. I do hope I don't sound as if I'm crowing, or smug, farfrom it I just feel so relieved (did I mention that?)

    Sorry for the long post!!
