Marru you are a real superwoman what with all your running and lock opening etc and dog walking, you must be really fit....this is something I need ot work on, I really need to find a way to get more fit that I can fit in with my life...

Thanks 69chick, I don't think I am that fit - need to lose stone and a bit. :o But I am really chuffed with the running progress considering that I was struggling to run two minutes continuously only 3 and half months ago and now I can quite happily trot 6 miles.

Today very tired in a good way. I think it is evening for junk food and a hot bath. I got a book from a library called "Born to Run" - I am not obsessed at all, am I :o well, I do have addictive personality I just had to find a positive way to channel it....

So declaring 5 merry days DB and Wednesday completed please Sparkles
    :)

    evening folks.

well done to all the runners! I've always been to ashamed of my skinny pasty white legs to run around in the street or the park. I don't mind at football or tennis though, probably because I get to kick and hit things while I'm doing that, not something I'd advise whilst jogging down the street.

I'm going to cook spag bol tonight, I love spag bol and I cook it the italian way by letting the sauce stew for ages, sometimes even overnight if it's a really special occasion. However, cooking this dish the way I like it requires a nice glug of wine in the sauce while it's simmering and I would usually buy a whole bottle, half of which would go in the sauce and the other half I would drink with my meal.

This time though, with money and sobriety ruling the purse strings, I bought one of those little 25cl cartons of cheap Tesco red wine(just to make sure I wouldn't tempted into having a cheeky glass - it truly is vile stuff) which I shall gleefully decant in its entirety into the sauce.

The simmering of the sauce will burn off the alcohol so even if there is technically wine in my dinner, it doesn't count as booze proper, does it?
    jusqu'ici tout va bien

Well done Marru, running is good for the soul. For me its my 'me' time and I can't believe how much I love it. A couple of years ago I'd have died laughing if anyone had said I'd catch the running bug, but now Im so glad I have...just got to get a few other areas of my life sorted now!!

Updated Mari, Pen and Sim :)

Was out a moment ago sorting out rubbish and managed to trip over a manhole cover with both feet at once somehow and ended up hurtling to the ground at speed. Landed on knees and left hand and all scraped now :(

Have not had a drink I swear!
