I've been sitting on the naughty step all weekend !
And in true SuperNanny style have to sit here for another 42 minutes.

Paolo, loved your post re barmaid. Think you did the right thing, if it's meant to be etc.

yep. not to mention the fact that I can't really afford to wine and dine anyone right now.

maybe on sunday when I get back from working in the country pub kitchen, I'll pop in for a pint(depending on how good my tips are) and see if she fancies a coffee in town during the week at lunchtime. nice and civilised.

I think you did really well owning up to cutting down! Lots of people find that really hard and make all manner of excuses, pregnancy even:D

    LOL YM !

And agree with Maman, think girls like to know a man can 'take care' of himself.

I bet they do, and I was pretty awful at that last year.

for all you music lovers out there, here's a terrific song from a band I like a lot. they're called 'Taken By Trees' really nice chilled out stuff ideal for those AF evenings.

anyway, here's the youtube link, hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxlHaQ1yPAc

Evening all. Had a really busy but productive day here.

Listening to the music right now Paolo, very pleasant indeed - feel that I could lie down and listen to it with my peepers shut for a while, but then I'd fall asleep!

Sim, you are sounding so upbeat and energetic - good for you!

    Love the naughty step.

Sparkles, I'm pleased to say I was AF on Monday too, so I'm still on for a full challenge - thanks for scoring.

I'm thinking I should be fine tonight - got to drive the boys to Scouts and then I have quite a bit of ironing to do which I tend not to do whilst drinking - just an association I've never formed. But not getting too cocky.
