Well Lurks at least we'll have company eh!?
Did I spot winebox last night as well????????????
Weather is grey and miserable here and freezing - its not helping.
I hope all is well in the land of Lurkio
I do believe winebox is showing her face, yes :j
Well you will live in such extreme places - didn't father Christmas move from there to lapland for better weather?
Land of Lurkio is particularly peachy atm ta, Doc- just waiting for SOMETHING to bite me on the 'arris, which it usually does.... :rotfl:
Hope all is equally ok in the land of StripesNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Stripeland is a bit topsy turvy - but sure it will settle down!
- put a pot on your 'arris then no one can bite you!
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -

Hope it does settle down.... no one likes topsy turvy (with the possible exception of one of Roger Hargreaves' characters....)
A pot? It's a look I might be able to carry off..... :rotfl:Neigh, neigh, and thrice neigh

Odd thing just happened to me now whilst outside having a ciagrette (seems to be the theme of the week for me).
I bumped into a girl who works at a local pub. We've had a few pleasant conversations recently, she's new to the area and only recently started working at that pub which is quite a busy meeting point for all sorts of people from that area, some good, some bad.
Last week in particular, I pretty much saw her every day because I popped in after work to enjoy a pint in the sun and she mentioned that she hadn't seen me since last week so I told her that I was laying off the the sauce, and going to the pub in particular, for a bit to save money and to give my body and mind a bit of a rest. she said that sounded like a great idea especially after a bank holiday and then asked what I did instead.
part of me was going to ask her if she fancied meeting for a coffee some time, I do genuinely like this girl and we seem to get on quite well, but I didn't.
In a flurry of thoughts I decided against it because firstly, I really want to have some time to myself for this week, secondly, I don't want to go ona date which may just be a subconcious knee-jerk reaction to bumping into my ex the other day and thirdly, she may well have just been friendly to me because I'm a familiar face but there's an old adage which often rings true, pretty girls working in pub will rarely want to have anything to do with a regular customer of the pub they work in. It creates all sorts of silly issues that are best avoided ranging from petty jealousy on either side of the bar to the logistics of differing working hours/time to spend together.
I know this may sound a bit like excessively forwards thinking, and it probably is but I speak from experience because I've been a barman and been out with a punter and been a punter and been out with a barmaid. both relationships didn't last long, nor did the respective careers or visits as a punter to the pubs in question.
Not to mention the fact that she may also have a boyfriend so if I had asked her out and she said no then future visits to that pub would be tinged with awkwardness.
anyway, if anything this has given me further determination to be AF today because I won't have an excuse such as 'but I'm going out on a date' to fall back on.
straight home after work for me, cup of tea, make dinner, watch the film 'Milk' then read my book listening to some old record or the other.jusqu'ici tout va bien0 -
