SSG don't worry about it. people do tend to rally when patriotism is threatened...only natural!

If its any consolation....the big rug I bought for my kitchen is of the union flag, NOT the george cross lol!!:rotfl:
(I do have a thing about union flag at the moment...got rug, mugs and cake tin...OH is starting to think I'm going mad!!!:eek:)

My friend works with victims of domestic violence and tells me it goes up by 30% at this time. That did shock and surprise me and also sadden me.

Evening.

Don't know if some of you remember the Mum who I was 'helping' give up drinking. I rang her today to see how she was getting on. 4 weeks sober, has used the money to buy camping equipment and has taken the kids away for the first time in years. So proud of her.

I am still not drinking. Don't get bells but do get the 'I wonder if one would hurt' So far i've decieded that 1 probably would hurt!

I've been lurking away and good to see so many new 'faces'. It's always a good read on here!

Decaring an af day pls Miss P yay, was in Mr Ts earlier too and managed to just pick up dh's cider.....have got coke and munchies in for me and ds for tomorrow night, only hope I can stick to my guns.....
