Thanks for the support Shaggy, I appreciate it. Just feeling bit glum I suppose. I know I'm never going to be a size 12 but I just don't want to be THIS big. Hate seeing myself in photos, hate trying on clothes and always having to look to the back of the rack for the bigger sizes. Just not sure at the moment what I want to do about it.

Sorry everyone for going on, just feeling glum. :(

    Hi Miss P :A

I know exactly where you are coming from. I work in an office with young very slim girls and have put a lot of weight on in the past few years (strangely when I was off sick... another story) and the alcohol doesnt help me.:(

I have now decided that I will eat sensibly, try to do a little excercise (altho my friends dog has gone home now) but learn to accept I will never be a stick insect again.

I would love to get some new clothes and stop living in black trousers but time will tell.

On the AF front Im afraid I let the side down again last night, but cant drink tonight as I have too much to do.

Hope your day improves and you feel better, as another poster said beauty comes from within.:D

    Take care

My golly how chatty you lot have been!!! Can't catch up now as need to go and get some hay and piggy food before doing dog walking and picking up 3 girls from school. Nope I haven't adopted two girls recently, just doing a favour for a friend.

Been in exam, was quite confident when I saw the questions but not very confident when I finished answering them. Hopefully I managed to write enough to get through. Will find out in end of August. And another exam on Monday so revising shall continue...

Fingers crossed for your exams Marru, they always seem to have gone worse than they actually did, if I remember rightly, I haven't had one in 15 years...

I'm going to have another AF day today, I'm going to pick up my new bike in a minute so as long as it doesn't start tipping it down with rain, I shall go for a nice bike ride somewhere.

I've got graemecarter's words from yesterday ringing in my head when he said something along the lines of 'it's your body, nobody is going to pour the booze down your neck, it's entirely up to you'. It reminds me of when I first started posting here and said from time to time that I was going to 'try' and have an AF day whereas now I prefer to post that I am going to have an AF day because I find it helps with the walk home from work(soon to be a cycle home from work, woohoo!) when the dreaded moment arrives when I can turn down the road and go to the pub or go straight home.

Incidentally, where I live, there's a fork in the road where one way takes you into the leafy area near the park where I live and the other takes straight onto the road where all the shops, cafe and pubs are. I've been known to pump my fist in a Henman-esque way when I've chosen the road to the right which leads to my house. I don't do it anymore though, it would be quite ridiculous if I were forced to explain this to someone upon being asked 'why are you celebrating? have you won something by crossing the road?'

mind you, to me it does feel like a victory of sorts, however minor it may be.
    jusqu'ici tout va bien

Miss P - Thank you for the scores - 9 please for today hope you are feeling better soon. You are doing something about your weight, you are following PMK, enjoying more what you eat and setting up a very impressive home gym. You might want to add some swimming or running ;) to that. Oh and Fay is talking a lot of sense - rushes off to make notes...

Oh that is where I went wrong - I didn't write enough. But in reality I feel like a rag that has been wrung dry (if that makes any sense)

Thanks - I have done these exams already 12-15 years ago but in different country and in different language so I need to do them now again here if I want to get a better paid job.

Breaking news - I am going to take on a new sport. If I can get a baby sitter for one evening next month I will go to local orienteering meeting. I used to do it at school long time ago and after taking on running I thought it would be fun thing to do and also a way to be more social as I really don't want to join a running club.

    Hi All

Hope the day has improved for everyone.

Well I have let the side down again....:(

It has been a bad day, finally remembered OH is going on holiday for
2 weeks with his "friend" which I have helped organise. He sold his car and was supposed to be heping pay for my car repairs but guess what the money has nearly all gone.

Sorry folks on a real downer, I cant afford a holiday or any sort of break. I seem to be the only one who is worried about the bills and my friend says Im just too soft with OH.

All I seem to do is go to work, (no one to really talk to as best friend left to have a baby), come home, cook, clean...drink:(
    and go to bed.

And if I do get away its to visit my parents who are not well and spend a weekend doing their hosework.

Oh well I suppose it could be worse...couldnt it?

Sorry have been really down before and dont want to go there again...keep taking the pills they say... and dont drink!!

Again hope everyone is ok apologies for being a misery
