    Hello,

We have been pottering around the house today apart from taking DD to the playground for awhile. Was supposed to run 7 miles this morning but idiot here didn't take water with her so got so dehydrated 4 miles in that decided to call it a day after 6. Gutted but was probably for the best.

HB - lovely to see you again

Well done all AF and all being moderate

Budgie - meant to say that why don't you start brisk walks? Then increase the distance bit by bit. It is excellent calorie burner and gives fresh air and you get to enjoy the scenery. And apart from comfy trainers, no investment necessary.

Better get something to eat before BGT and then I am going to set up the pc as this laptop is on its last leg.

    DB - Can I have 23 please
    ?

    Evening everyone!

    :hello: To GC!

Af here today. Had a fab day. Mum and Dad popped round AM with some clothes for Piglet...t-shirts by wierd fish and a swimming/bath poncho by little white company(they went shopping in Bath yesterday and went a bit overboard!!:rotfl:). He looks gorgeous in it all.

Then we popped to Sainsbugs this afternoon....stocked up on cold drinks and choc ices etc courtesy of my Dad (he gave us £20 to get stuff). Also got Rump Steak for £5 and had a lovely dinner tonight. Love my Dad!:D

Piglet has been in garden from 2pm till 7.30pm..playing with sandpit, paddling pool and hose. We bought some cheap water pistols and had a waterfight. He loved it!:D

All in all a very good day. AF too which is a bonus for me.

Hope everyone has had good days?

    Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is ok and enjoying this lovely sun :)

Budgie has been af all weekend and sticking to her diet, like a good Budgie should. I have to say this c s stuff is really ok, I haven't felt hungry at all. Mr Budgie has stayed this weekend too, which was very nice. He seems to be on the right track, (fingers crossed).

So DB sweetheart that is 14 for Budgie now please :) thankyou for scoring it is much appreciated. Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I really haven't felt like drinking any wine at all this weekend, which I feel really pleased about. I have a wardrobe full of clothes that I want to get back into.

So hugs everyone and I am off to catch up with how everyone is doing.

Oh but firstly WELCOME BACK MS HONEY B :j Bear hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi guys, just a quick post...................

Miss P it sounds like fun has been had in the piggy household  I am sure piglet is thrilled with his sandpit and loves his mummy very much. Cherish these times as the pass so very quickly. Hugs and take care (()) xxxxxxxxxxxx

My Ds on the otherhand has rang me, now he is very much like Budgie as when we are tired, we are very irritable. He is complaining how warm his flat is and how unbearable it is, due to the heat. (I can vouch for this). He is telling me, if it carries on he needs to book into a hotel. And he stressed again that it is UNBEARABLE. (you get the gist here). Any way he may order an aircon unit? I hope he gets something as he is not very happy at all at the moment. He is saving for his house deposit, dh & Ihave loaned him 8k towards his deposit, and he has saved some of his own money but is short at the moment for his 10%. With Mr Budgie not working we cannot really afford any more.

But enough of that, I am concerned as Jo seems not to have posted for awhile? Also 40sm is quiet and Bhb seems to be awol too? Anyone seen Wbf at all. DC is quiet also? Fluffy has been missing for ages? As has Eselt? The list goes on ..................................

But anyway I must go and wash off my conditioner, but thankyou for you advice re: my treadmill, 69chick I will not be purchasing another on and I have looked at the couch to 5k running. (Thankyou guys). Marru you are an inspiration. Maman hope you are ok, Sparkles too? (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Gien and 115k hope you are both ok? Also Winebox, Ym, Fay and of course Dear Lurky. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi to Pen, Lamarsi, Bis too. Graeme your posts are fab matey, Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sim hope you are ok? I saw your apology and noticed that you had deleted a couple of your posts. Please let us know how you are? Do keep posting, well done also on the volunteering front. xx

DB hoping the concert went well sweetheart? Good on ya girl :)

MollyPolly nice to see you back, I bet you are enjoying our Stokie weather. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ps Maman I have to say Jose m is very special ;)

God bless everyone and take care

  • Hi all,

Too hot here to do scores tonight. Hot weather doesn't suit DB! I'm a spring gal. Love some sun but not the heat! Tomorrow will be even hotter.

Having said that, I've had a very busy day and got a good few things done but still looking in despair at the height of the grass in the garden.

Well done to those feeling the urges and not going there. GC's posts very enlightening as usual. I've ordered the book Mookie mentioned. Reading through the stories of some of the folks on Amazon who recommend it was very touching. It helps some but not all of course. Everyone can find their way eventually but you have to try a few to see what works for you.
I'm still on the list for counselling but its been 4 months now and not likely to be available soon. Just goes to show how many people need it.

:hello:to HB. Lovely to hear from you. You've been missed.

  • Hi Budgie,

Thanks. It did go much better than expected and had a great time. Not giving up the day job yet though. :rotfl:

Hope things get sorted out with DS.

BB....sounds like DS needs an AC unit! I'm not a huge fan of heat myself but am finding this lovely...not sure why!?!

Jo is very busy at work so may be shy she's not posting?

AM getting very annoyed here... what time do you think is acceptable to mow your lawn? Next doors was doing their back one at 8pm (when piglet going to bed) and are NOW doing thier front one!!

    ARGH

P.s BB Think you and Mr B have done your bit for the house deposit! Up to DS now to do it for himself. You help him in lots of ways I'm sure, so please don't feel bad!

Thats what I thought. I'm a bit more tolerant than OH. They are portugese and have a lot of VERY loud arguments very late at night. And they had a BBQ with friends where they were in garden discussing thier sex lives!!:eek:They went back to portugal for a year and tenants (also portugese) were lovely. SO disappointed they've comeback :(
