Hi every1! i have done LOADS of hours researching this, as i want about 20 flat moles removed from my body by lazer removal. I have found this website which lists all places which do this! ( i am unable to post links as i am a new user, but if you google the consulting room, then go to the treatment - Laser & IPL Treatment - Pigmented and Vascular Problems Information, all the info will come up)
I have today emailed about 5 of the clinics and hopfully will have a few consultations before i decide which clinic to go to!
Hope you find this as helpful as i did!

the laser mole removal service price range from 5 SGD to 20 SGD each mole. A salon in bugis, near the OG, price is very cheap, but must be careful if you go such place to remove moles. Highly suggest to got go Clariancy Aesthetic clinic get the professional laser mole removal service.0

does anyone else find it worrying how there are so many 1 time posters bigging certain clinics up?0

I thought it may be helpful for me to post details of my experience of radiosurgery mole removal.
I chose to use the Nottingham Laser Clinic (it's recently changed it's name, off the top of my head I think the new name is something like Zenith but I could be completely wrong!) due to it not being too far travel-wise and also I liked the idea of no bleeding as we were due to go and visit friends that same afternoon for the weekend.
I read up as much as I could on the website then called for further advice on what to do next. I was asked to e-mail a few pictures over and that the doctor would take a look to see if it was something he could help with. A few days later I called to follow up my e-mail and was advised the clinic could definately remove my moles. I planned on having 8 removed in total (7 on my face and 1 on my neck). The biggest was 1cm and was in the middle of my cheek. I know 1cm is tiny in the grand scheme of things but my moles have bothered me for a long time.
I was able to get an appointment for the next day so didn't have too much time to get over excited. When I arrived, I had a consultation with the nurse and she took pictures of all 8 moles and marked them up ready for the doctor. What threw me the most was that I was told that there may be some bleeding and that I would have a plaster over each mole that I would need to keep on for 2 days. In hindsight I wished they would put this kind of info on the website. (Our friends were very understanding that weekend and looked after me very well!)
The numbing injection in each mole hurt like anything and I needed more than one in the biggest mole. The only thing I can compare the machine used to do the removal with, is a sparkler from fireworks night ... not that I've ever put a sparkler to my face!! But there was the burning sensation of the removal and what felt like sparks either side. A really odd sensation and at times really painful. There were a few tears!
ALL of my moles bled and some of them bled an awful lot. Within 45 mins of leaving the clinic, I had to change the plaster on the biggest mole and ended up changing all the plasters several times over the 2 days of having to wear them. The wounds scabbed over nicely and now I am left with 8 pink marks which I can easily cover with foundation. I am returning in November for a follow up/check up.
I am very, very pleased I've had it done, but would warn people they could well experience bleeding and be aware you will need to wear plasters for 2 days over the wounds.
Hi Mrs. Gibbo,
Can I please ask, how much did this procedure cost? On the website (Zenith, you were right!), no cost is mentioned. How much does 1 mole cost to remove and how much for the 2nd mole and there after?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone who had mole removal by laser surgery a number of months/years ago is still reading this and can post an update? I'm very interested in this procedure. I have a number of dark raised moles on my face, however, my main concern is the posts saying this removal is best for skin coloured moles. I don't want to be left with a dark patch. I initally felt quite excited at the prospect of my moles disappearing, however, after reading this I feel quite sick! I have had three moles removed on the NHS, but all though cutting and understandably they have left scars. I would hate to have the moles removed from my face only to leave an indent or redness.
Any help would be hugely appreciated, if anyone can update me!

It is now 7 months on from the mole removal and I must say I am generally happy with the results. I had 8 or 9 moles removed from my face and most are excellent however my concern for the mole removed from my cheek was justified as I now have a Chicken Pox like scar. I have made an appointment to have the area retreated. What surprised me was that Dr Maini informed me he had only one case scarring in over 30,000 procedures. I cannot believe that I am the second.
I also had a number of moles removed from my back. I am not ecstatic about the results as there are still visible marks and what looks to be some scarring.
My advice would be - if you are considering radio therapy, ask the physician to be extremely careful and not go too deep, especially in the facial area.0 -
Many thanks for your update. I am sure that it is very helpful for many people to have a genuine review. I have sent you a PM.

Hi all, following my treatment for removal of a flat mole today at the Nottingham/Now Zenith laser clinic, I am pleased to report that at this time I am really happy with the results that I was shown after treatment. The mole was no longer visible, just leaving the wound and a bit of bleeding. Dr Maini has applied the plaster, which I will be removing in a couple of days.
So ill update here in a week or so, hopefully with some good news! Feeling quite positive about it at the minute, so I hope this post can be of some help to anyone else considering the radio therapy option

I have a skin-coloured mole on the side of my nose, a large brown raised mole on my chest and a smaller mole on my stomach which sometimes gets inflamed. I want all of them removed, for different reasons - the first is cosmetic, the others for comfort - and have no idea how to go about this. I've read through the threads and still no closer to an answer. Do I go to my GP about this? And can moles be removed under NHS?
Sounds like it will cost about £400 to get them lasered off (based on prior threads) - is that right?
Cheers for any help!0 -
Go to your GP first and see what they suggest. A mole that becomes inflamed should be looked at.
Let us know how you get on.
