Sports Direct Bargains are a poor substitute for Customer Service

TBH customer care is rubbish just about everywhere in UK (some notable exceptions) so might as well go for the bargain!

I think mud slinging often says more about the slinger than the slung upon. The comments clearly just got out of hand. OP had some valid points (Direct should have offered a refund by law BUT to promote professional image should have sought to resolve this problem. We would have expected that from good quality shops 10 or 20 years ago (I remember old department stores spending a lot of time hunting spares or replacements). However, I would not expect a lot from Direct Sports being in the Stack em high and sell them cheap style shop.

Anyway, I think people should respect the threads in the spirit they were written. It only needed one comment saying "wrong board" and it to reported for a move.... why everyone has to get their thrupence worth I am not sure.

It used to be like this on the 'Gambling' board... dunno if it still is.

I shop instore at Sports Direct, but avoid online, as I have heard horror stories like this one... thanks to the OP for confirming they are still @sses lol

If you actually read the posts, the only person to get over-sensitive, unpleasant and bad-tempered was the OP when they branded people Nazis. If you think that calling them a moron for doing so is worse than them flinging that word around, I think you should revisit your history books 'A little inapproriate' indeed

The OP clearly just wanted to slag Sports Direct off to as many people as possible, hence the choice of board. It certainly caused me to waste 5 minutes of my life.

Personally, i have never had a problem with SD, and im sure many others, (nazis and morons included) have also never had a problem.
