THe op lost the arguement once they called us nazis. I come to the quick grabbit for grabbits.
I go to the vent board for vents and yes the opis right people might want to know so post in the threads.
As for people moaning about people complaining about people complaining, do that in the vent board this is for grabbits. Otherwise it would be anarchy I tells ya. Anarchy.
Yes the op was well intentioned, but it would vmore impact in a thread about them .Nice to save.0 -
now now folks lets just agree to disagree we dont want the grabbits thread shut down if everyone who posted something wrong in the wrong place got jumped on then all it does is cause fights we are all here for the same thing lets just leave it.
i too purchased the heelys just before xmas for my 10 yr old, i put them in the santa pile and left them until xmas didnt think to check (i know my mistake) but i just assumed they were all complete anyway come xmas morning a very excited 10 yr old opened his parcel and tried to assemble his heelys only to find the wheels where far too big didnt fit in the hole obviouslt came from a larger size shoe when i took them back they didnt have his size left only in pink so i asked if i could have the wheels out of the pink ones and was told no and giving a gift card, very unhappy son as he couldnt get heelys else where for that price. the only thing i buy from them now is the 3 quid footballs kids go thru loads of them.best win in 2011:eek: 4 nights in Las Vegas

What a load of unpleasant and bad tempered comments!
And just because you disagree with them does not make it ok to start bully people.
I think mud slinging often says more about the slinger than the slung upon. The comments clearly just got out of hand. OP had some valid points (Direct should have offered a refund by law BUT to promote professional image should have sought to resolve this problem. We would have expected that from good quality shops 10 or 20 years ago (I remember old department stores spending a lot of time hunting spares or replacements). However, I would not expect a lot from Direct Sports being in the Stack em high and sell them cheap style shop.

'Moron' is out of order. Why resort to this?
'Nazi' well a little inappropriate but I think its entered into usage in the same way "that parking warden is a right little hitler" etc. Seriously doubt OP was comparing anyone to a fanatical genocidal lunatic; the comment I suspect was the way some people do not accept other points of view.
Anyway, I think people should respect the threads in the spirit they were written. It only needed one comment saying "wrong board" and it to reported for a move.... why everyone has to get their thrupence worth I am not sure.
Try to spread a little love and peace, and stop being so over sensitive............... Have you ever wondered what

MSE's getting very nasty lately, well not the whole of MSE just certain parts of it.
We are all on the same side here, we shouldnt be arguing between ourselves.
If this carries on we might loose this part of the forum, If you want an argument of to sling insults at each other take it elsewhere, please dont bring it in here.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Just a little neutral observation from someone who has 'lurked' on these boards for a while now. I always read the Grabbit board at least twice a day, but to be honest, rarely look at the other boards. I myself, wasn't even aware of a 'vent' board, and if I had been, I doubt I would check on there everytime I wanted to make a purchase or 'grabbit' to see if anyone has complained about the company, so I kind of see why the OP thought this thread might be helpful on the Grabbit board. I understand it can be annoying or confusing when things are put in the wrong place, but sometimes their response can be a little harsh, particularly to new posters and I'm sure I'm not the only person who has passed on posting a grabbit in case it's done incorrectly. Please everyone, try and be a little tolerant, and if something is in the wrong place, it doesn't hurt to just point it out politely. This is a brilliant site, we are all here supposedly to help each other, so let's be nice....0
