maybe certain posters should take note as they seem to be very abusive to others!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You seem to be confusing 'abuse' with opinion. First abusive post came from the OP using the term NAZI!

Nowhere does it state on this forum that posters have to agree with the OP, nor does it state that replies will ONLY be what the OP wants to hear.

I for one never look on the vent board regulary so would have missed this warning from OP about a merchant who's deals are on the grabbit everyday.

I understand where OP is coming from as does it really need 3 or 4 of you telling OP that its not a grabbit i mean come on, one polite message would do...Rykes2000 even commented on the issue of OP then next post was saying this is not a grabbit! Consistency is the key :)

Its all a bit playground :rotfl:

Nope, I commented on another person's post a few seconds before saying anything to the OP :)

I've only bought from Sports Direct once but it was a good experience. I agree the customer service adviser was downright rude but if you don't have a receipt you don't have a leg to stand on I'm afraid.

It is a bit frustrating when people post in the wrong sections though. If we all posted in the most popular but irrelevant sections it'd be a right clutter and we'd never find what we wanted to look at. Might have made more sense to post this in the Praise, Vent and Warnings board and then link to it next time someone posts a Sports Direct grabbit?

Must be said though, calling people Nazis not cool. I know people get a bit heated at times but the best thing you can do is not sink to their level. For the record compared to some threads I've seen this was not really abusive- some people's comments sounded a bit blunt but I don't think they were intended as being rude.

Ok - so the thread will be moved. As it's here, I'll respond here. Just in defence of Sports Direct, I'vr always found the staff instore to be dead friendly. I don't think they get a lot of info from head office though - when i saw the crocs on-line in an e-mail, I went to my local shop and they'd not been told that the promo had been moved forward. The lad checked though and said yep - promo on - and even said he'd have a look for other colours in the back cause my god daughter wanted a few pairs.

I think they hire young people who don;t get paid too much, and often get harassed. The higher ups make the money - the shop staff are often run off their feet for buttons. And I've always found them nice to deal with.

Some of you people need to remember this is just the INTERNET. There is a whole new world outside of your front door. If adults are being mean on the internet, it's beggers belief what they are like in the real world!

Please point out where people were being mean ? As said above, opinions were expresed in a straightforward fashion, not mean or attacking, until the OP called people Nazis.
