I'm having a crap night, as OH is away in the Netherlands on business and all the kids are either tucked up in bed or out at the youth club and there is sod all on telly tonight. How about you put your feet up and I'll bake the cake for you. I like baking, particularly the quality control bit

Congrats DKAM
Just pureed some carrots, brocolli and potato from dinner to freeze for William...in the ice cube tray with the apple... no one answered last night so I'll ask again.. can you freeze banana?Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
Sami - we use the "mare" saying too.
Can't remember who was asking about cot parts but generally you'll need a reciept to get parts as they know they get sold on. Also if the cot is discontinued then parts may not be available, same goes for pushchairs. Some of it is down to managers descretion as to weather they'll honour warranty without reciept/provide free of charge parts as the company have to order them in from manufacturer (stores don't hold parts). Oh and reciepts can be tracked so it's no good claiming one on your statement is the cot cos they'll just look it up.
Well T hasn't been a happy bunny and doesn't want putting down! Fine when being cuddled and loved going out in her pushchair earlier tho.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Great news DKAM

Maz, what i remember from when we were at puree stage was that banana doesnt freeze v well (goes black), but apparantly can freeze if you're gonna use in cakes or something, i could never find a proper answer tbh but i think prob not! banana's never last long enough in this house to reach the freezer anyway!

You can, but it might go a bit black when you defrost it again. I'd be inclined to add it in on an as you need it basis. An opened banana, rewrapped in its skin IFYSWIM should keep for a couple of days in the fridge, so long as it wasn't too soft and ripe to begin with.0 -
