Ambers cot is falling to bits. The slats are coming out of the base, do you think mother care would send me a replacement base? I did get it from ebay but it wasn't used and the stickers are still on it! The slats are not wide enough for the base so I can't even glue them back in.

Youll probably need a receipt. I asked them if they provided replacement parts for Silver Cross 3d Prams as they have them in stock but she said they could only do it if I could prove I bought it there (and not got it free on Freecycle!). I was asking about buying them but it was still a no.

Mel, I used a mei tai with Finn from birth so I wouldn't worry about that aspect :p. I got mine from an Etsy seller, so it was cheaper than the UK retail ones...maybe £35ish, I think?

Doesn't mean you would again. I played 2 simultaneous games with MM...in 1 she whooped my a$$ but in the other I was whooping her :D

It is just the luck of the tiles. The only person who seems to be consistently amazing is our Countdown God himself :T

I'd try too Tia, plead ignorance. Did you buy much from Mothercare when she was born, is there a larger payment to them on your bank statement. You could say the cot was in that payment.

I had a mothercare cot second hand with Aimee but the woman that sold it to my Mum couldn't find the fixings for the drop side... Mothercare just sent my Mum some out...

Also, I bought Aimee's cotbed from Argos, it's a Danish brand, Thusomethingorother... The metal parts that held the base in place broke... I emailed them to ask if they sold replacements and they just sent them out to me for free... Never hurts to ask ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
