I've been at the Dr's today, apparently I've got arthritis in both knee's so have to give some anti-inflammatories a go for a month then go back and see how I'm getting on. Thanks to csh I know about the possibility of it being something else so am going to go back and discuss that with the Dr as I'd rather not be on tablets forever. My grandad had two full knee replacements so I'm really hoping it's not arthritis :o

I was diagnosed with arthritis at 17 and with very rarely taking medication for it I've managed.

I take Anti-inflamatories when very very bad which is rare. I find avoiding spicy food and acidic foods and drinks does help. Cutting out a lot of red meat helps too.. and not giving in to it... I get out of bed and hobble about and it does get slightly easier with movement

if anyone has any tried and tested tips to curb appetite or to dress to disguise big bellies, I'm all ears. I've already been asked twice in the last couple of weeks whether I am expecting again :p

Tell them not to be so rude  I drink a massive glass of water when I start feeling hungry, partly because often thirst misrepresents as hunger but also because it fills my tum.

    Happy birthday Jayden!

:rotfl: at Benjamin and his bedtime antics. Molly scratches other kids too and I have a cohort of fellow lax mummies at Gymboree who think kids will accidentally hurt each other and so long as nobody's bleeding it's all good, so we keep our kids next to each other ;)

I'm exhausted. Off to bed, but will first leave Husband a note asking him to take the rubbish and the recycling down if he leaves before we're up in the morning.

Thanks PP, I'm like that at present. I literally crawl on all fours to the bathroom on a morning then hope for it to ease before I pick Isla up. As long as I keep moving til bedtime it doesn't seize up as much. I'll start cutting out spicy etc to see if it helps too.

Wee James can have some of Cameron's vibes... He has a few to spare since his tumour is shrinking and he might not need surgery now :D

Bruno... Is that you I can smell? :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
