I am so pleased that Elijah has moved on from liking ITNG (which I can barely tolerate :p) to being very keen on Numberjacks (which I think are awesome! :o) :D

We went to a play-centre today and I was sat with her in the baby/toddler bit. She LOVED the other children - but she is liable to scratch them and pull herself up on them so I have to keep bringing her back which she doesn't like. I might look into the nursery option. Do they do settling in sessions?

I think they all accidentally scratch affectionately! :)
V scratched Benjamin on their first meeting :o, i think its love. (Although I still feel :( about it!)

Maybe a nursery is the answer. Hopefully there'll be too much going on to notice you're not there?!?

Our nursery did as many settling in sessions as needed.

Is CSH about? Do you need to email me some address labels?

    can you freeze banana?
If it's peeled, yes... But I'd do as Nikki suggested and just keep it in the skin... The top will probably go a bit squishy but it's edible...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

LOL - did she the cheeky madam!! I have absolutely no recollection of it!

He got her back by climbing over her head to get up the slide last time they were together ;)

Our current fave TV programme is Thomas - actually our current fave EVERYTHING is Thomas :D

I tried to bath the babba in the kitchen sink this evening and he cried PROPER TEARS!!! He was shattered again though, despite a 3 hour nap this afternoon. I got him into his sleepsuit and he grabbed his elephant and a dummy and went to open the door to go upstairs, waving at daddy on the way :A

I'm now feeling officially glum! I made the mistake of stepping on the scales tonight, and I am the heaviest I have ever been, with the exception of the very end of pregnancy, and 2 and a half stone over what I regard as my ideal weight. After my slump a while ago, the doc put me on some mood stabilisers, which are working in staving off PND, but a recognised side effect is to put on a lot of weight (about 30lb is apparently the average ). I know the plan is for me to keep taking the meds for another 4 months or so, but heaven only knows what size I'll be by then. I'm not sure I can manage SM's strict weight loss regime, but if anyone has any tried and tested tips to curb appetite or to dress to disguise big bellies, I'm all ears. I've already been asked twice in the last couple of weeks whether I am expecting again :p

    Evening all,

Susan - I hope Alice is better soon and that you all start to get some proper sleep.

    DKAM - that's great news that you've got a flat :j

Tia - the fairies are very lazy and didn't fly today, they will tomorrow though :o

I've been at the Dr's today, apparently I've got arthritis in both knee's so have to give some anti-inflammatories a go for a month then go back and see how I'm getting on. Thanks to csh I know about the possibility of it being something else so am going to go back and discuss that with the Dr as I'd rather not be on tablets forever. My grandad had two full knee replacements so I'm really hoping it's not arthritis :o

Wee James is really quite poorly and could do with all the vibes you lovely lot can spare, he's got an infection on his main line and is back on morphine and antibiotics and has had another transfusion. The surgeon is having a meeting with his parents over the next few days but he's a poorly wee boy at the minute so please excuse me if I'm a bit scatty atm x x
