EA - Just put baby oil on the cradle crap bits on lilys head, leave it to soak in overnight or during the day, get a baby comb and backcomb the scabs off. It's a very satisfying thing, seeing the whole thing lift off :rotfl: I was quite sad that Keira's never came back after that!!

Oooo this just totally turned my stomach. _pale_

aless - som with her pushchair and me with a [horned devil] gorgeous son in a baby bjorn. How young can you leave them in the ball pit???? Tom was a bleedin nightmare last night, coupled with DP deciding Monday night was a good night with a swift half (or rather not so swift and most definitely not half) on the way home all not well with me last night.

    TMI alert
DP and I have decided to TTC again sooner rather than later but we've only dtd about twice since Tom arrived as my drive is so low, tell me this is normal?!

Finn & I (and most likely DH unless something changes in the next 24 hrs) will most likely be with our Chicco grey-with-white-circles buggy unless I change my mind and wear the green stripey mei tai sling :). I have unruly long blonde hair so hopefully you cannot miss me :rotfl:.

Also, my drive is intermittant at very best. I probably only 'want to' about 50% of the time we actually DTD. I'm also a lot less affectionate/touchy-feely than before. Good luck though!!
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

    Definately normal!
We've probably only dtd twice since V arrived and she's 14 months old! :rotfl: Ok, maybe three times. :rotfl:
Sometimes I feel like it but it's not convenient with three children about, and when it is convenient, I cba! :o Very occasionally the convenient time matches up with the feeling like it time.

Anyway, you only need to do it once to conceive!

Always, it is normal huni. But know the saying practice makes perfect? You just have to make an effort to do it even when cleaning the floor looks more fun and eventually you will get your groove back ;)

Just had a joiner out to quote for some loft buts, he came in and mentioned that he had quoted for windows and a drive and I ran downstairs. He is the worlds biggest bull shitter! We are getting a quote for what he thinks we should do as apparently it's impossible to do it the way we want (even though two houses the exact same as ours have it that way). Junk mail! I left DH to talk to him...

Grrr.. I hate budgeting! Is it Friday (pay day) yet? :(

My bank statement are going to be massive this month with all the transfers I've done between accounts to free up enough of an overdraft to pay the council tax - the DD bounced last month because they tried to take the payment literally hours (same day/date) before enough money went into the account to cover it  :o

I was telling OH about it yesterday and pointed out this is what it'd be like if I wasn't going back to work... hmm, no ta!

Anyway, in brighter news, Rhys is napping on the sofa (surrounded by cushions so he can't escape) instead of on me for a change :D

It's not gross, it was awesome......

    Now I'm just being minging!!

It's a nice day today but can't decide what I want to do, I have money so I could go shopping (clothes) but I've gained some weight (couple of lbs) the past few weeks, so really don't want to be buying anything that won't fit so good once I shift the lbs. I just can't get my head back into this dieting lark. I really will just have to drink those foul expired cambridge diet shakes, as I'm visting my friends again in Leeds in May and I'm not turning up looking like a potato.

Guess grocery shopping, we have no ketchup!!!!!!!!!!!

hmm - I was 'at it' within 2 weeks of all 4 (inc 1 c/s and 2 v nasty tears with internal and external stitches) and less than 3 weeks after my hysterectomy. :o At 40 (eek!!) I've turned rampant and would happily dtd 4 or 5x or more week - unlike DH - grr!!! Holidays are when he's up for it.....

the lowest my drive has been is when I had a mirena - almost permanent pmt and no libido meant there was no point in having it!:rotfl:

thank you, that's my experience too, I'm glad it's normal :) (could be my age too *cough36cough*)

My periods returned earlier after each child - despite fully b/f on demand. With no 4 they started about 2 days after the lochia finished:mad: - I was well peeved! They also got heavier after each child - but did (for the first time in 15+ years) become a regular 28 days after no 4.... However, no more periods for me now :D:D

morning all, gotta go back and catch up but need to ask a question re shoes cos I cant remember. I know that when they are younger you tend to get kids measured every 8 weeks or so for new shoes but when they get to 2½ how often do you go ?
I just give his toes a poke every now n then and if they feel close to the edge I get him checked, around that age he once needed a new pair after 6 weeks but then didn't need the next for closer to 12weeks ???

    Morning all..

Have a fab holiday, hammy! :D :hello:

Re: safety gates, those Lindam ones from Asda don't fit our doorways after all :( I didn't think they were particularly narrow doors but... Haven't looked yet but I suppose the narrow ones are going to be more expensive that the normal ones *rolleyes*

Rhys is fine this morning (after his nosedive off the sofa last night :o). I woke him up at 8am as his lie in yesterday threw everything out of kilter a bit. He was doing over-enthusastic sighs and rubbing his face during his bottle but at least he might nap later :p

We need to go to a card shop so might take a drive into town later :)

Hope everyone has a good day xx
I found the smaller ones were cheaper but had to be screwed to the wall :( they are also much easier to open, Chris mastered ours at about 18mths but was only about 6mths ago he mastered mums one! both were bought in asda baby events

    Morning everyone :)

Lily has cradle cap. Its quite alot of it to.

How can i help it along? I read that you can put baby oil or Vasaline on it overnight and then wash it off in the morning. But she's very hairy and it would mean covering her actual hair in oil/jelly.
what buttons said pretty much is what we did,
I didn't put oil stuff on though I just let it soften with water in the bath then gently scraped it off with a comb.
AFAIK it is 'caused' by the fact that babies heads aren't combed brushed etc as those things usually take away the dead skin cells in growned ups so after I got rid of Ed's I kept up the combing, a baby brush didn't do anything because his mop is/was too thick!
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

i must be 'abnormal' too greent. 3 times a week here. DH would most prob like to DTD every night but i put my foot down.

we want another baby, but not quite yet. looking at TTC from about march next year, i figure by time baby arrives Kian will be old enough to have been toliet trained and used to me not being around all the time. and also to save a bit more money than we managed this time round. although i have pointed out to DH that we wont need to buy as much as we have all the 'big things'.

ooh for those who like crisps Seabrooks are on offer at Asda 66p for bag of 6, all flavours :D:D

    my faves!!!
