Not naturally handy (office worker), but my dad can do anything, and has been teaching him over the past few years, so he is not bad. He wants to try everything himself. He has mentioned sleepers. I think he just left it a bit late to look into it and thinks there is no point now and I haven't shown enough interest. :o

I was surprised H was only 17lb 7oz when I took her yesterday. I have really felt her beefing up in the last week and her legs have definitely grown. My back hurts trying to lift her at the moment so goodness knows what it will be like when she is a toddler!

How is K getting on anyway? Sleeping any better? Being good for MIL?

Sleeping still rubbish, wakes every night between 3 and 4am for his dummy then is up every 30-60mins after for the dummy. Doesn't cry unless I'm not quick enough then he howls the house down. don't know why hes having these broken nights, just the developemental changes?
Hes crawling like a pro now and proper into everything!!
Hes very good for MIL and went visting on Saturday with them! They go everyweek to see MIL's parents, sister, her daughter and her 2 kids plus her other daughters 2 kids so always a full house on a Saturday and they are loving having a baby to play with!
Hes away again this sat as OH and I both working :( for me but :D for Kieren!

Definitely Pachelbel's Canon Tara! Lovely for wedding music. I always intended to have that if I walked down the aisle and my friend had it at her wedding a couple of weeks ago. I love it.

I love that. I've got it as my ring tone.

I still cant think of any songs for our evening playlist either. I have loads of songs i like but you cant really dance to them :p

Don't have a play list as they rarely work. The best disco's hubby did were spontanious ones where he just adapted the music to whatever people wanted on the night. He used to do sets of say 3-4 songs of Motown for the old aunties, then a few R&B for the youngesters, and so on. Keeping it mixed up with short sets keeps everyone interested and people don't drift off.

Wedding from hell story: we were told to play R&B only and were given a very strict play list. We assumed there must be a lot of youngesters going. It said strictly no daft party dances and no other genres of music. When we arrived there were a lot of older people there and we ended up playing R&B to an empty floor. Guests were coming up and begging for the usual cheesy disco stuff like the Nolans, Abba etc., but we had to say bride says no. Most people had left by 10pm and probably thought the DJ was crap, when really Craig just wasn't allowed to do what he was good at as the bride thought she knew best. Then she had the cheek to complain and say it was rubbish and nothing like a friends wedding where he wasn't restricted and the dance floor was packed all night!

Boot camp was hard tonight. She really had us working and my thighs are really hurting. Probably won't be able to walk in the morning :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

Wow, go Kieren! He learns fast. Need more pics on Facebook!

His sleeping sounds a bit like Holly. She wakes most nights around 2ish and moans a little but popping her dummy in sets her back off instantly. Until about 4am when she is wide awake and pretend cries when I try to leave the room! After about 3 tries, I end up taking her into the spare room and she will usually go back to sleep shortly after that (although it was about an hour this morning!). I know it's not a good habit, but I don't care as I would prefer to have the sleep.
She wasn't going to bed easily either for a couple of weeks, but seems to be ok as I am tiring her out more during the day and she loves her cot mobile projector as she has discovered how to control it herself.

I kind of have my work sorted now, so really need to decide which day I want a childminder and start looking. But I am looking for a holiday at the moment instead!

    ETA - Night night. x

thanks! I hate lettuce so it would just something like rocket or cress for us :D. I even replant the coriander into a much bigger pot and it still dies! :rotfl: last time the mint choked it out so I shall pass on the mint this summer :D

I always want to grow chili peppers but never get around to it...

Chilli peppers are really easy, we have some on our windowsill from a chili bought in the supermarket and get quite a few from it but as we are both crap cooks they never get used :o

Fitzio, it's not too late to sow seeds, you still have a month for some things. We just built a raised bed from decking bought at B&Q, it only took half a day to do even with my OH's less than impressive carpentry skills.

    Morning everyone!

We had random Bach music (Husband went through and picked out everything that had never been used in an ad) before I arrived at the wedding and to walk out to, then I walked in to Clannad's Maid Marian and we signed the register to an Icelandic singer Buppi, and the song was Romeo & Julia. I can't find youtube links for either one now :( A friend had their first dance to Chasing Cars, it was our first day home with Molly so we didn't go but the video was very sweet.

Any news of Andrew or baby James? How's Maddy?

Thinking of you today KOAG :grouphug:

Husband has ButtCam at some point today, we're not sure when so Molly and I are going about our normal business. I am going to try to get her to sleep on the way to Gymboree because we're booked in for two classes this week one right after the other and I want her to be awake for at least half of both ;) She made a good start by waking up unspeakably early :rotfl:

Edit: Oh hey I saw someone posted a romantic song on Tara's FB, remember it's a surprise wedding!

    And hello Bruno
