thanks! I hate lettuce so it would just something like rocket or cress for us
. I even replant the coriander into a much bigger pot and it still dies! :rotfl: last time the mint choked it out so I shall pass on the mint this summer

The only hard bit is keeping the slugs off - year before last I didn't get to eat any rocket - well, I had one salad with some in, then the next time I went to the allotment the slugs had eaten the lot - gutted! If you have a bit more space tomatoes and cucumbers are good too, but the last couple of years have been rubbish for tomatoes - we've ended up with the plants getting blight before we had any fruit off them. We are growing them in a polly tunnel this year though, so I'm hoping I'll be spending hardly anything on salad this year with any luck :money:.
tbh I've not been able to get involved very much since we've had the allotment - this is the first year I've done much other than supervise - we got the allotment about the same time I got my BFP, so couldn't do any digging or anything, then last year i had a teeny baby to cart around, so other than watering I didn't manage very much. This year I've actually been able to plant a few bits (including some flowers too) all by myself, and dig up weeds and stuff. Still not as much as DH and my Dad, but now Izzy likes to dig with a trowel, I can do a few bits nearby where she is playing
Anyway, I'm running out of time to have an early night, so I'd better go to sleep. Oops! Night allIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Definitely Pachelbel's Canon Tara! Lovely for wedding music. I always intended to have that if I walked down the aisle and my friend had it at her wedding a couple of weeks ago. I love it.
Maz - I decided that after Baby Sensory today, I would go on a bra finding mission for you. I went to 3 different Asdas, and the best I could find was a 34DD, sorry. Can't your local one check stock of other stores? And, like Glam, you cost me about £20 in stuff for Holly. I will pm you my address and you can send me a cheque to cover my "expenses"! x0 -

I should clarify that while we have a garden, is it not the sort where I can put things in the ground! I'd KILL for an allotment or to own a house with room for a veggie patch. My mom was an avid gardener, so I totally miss all that from growing up.
