Hugs (and birthday hugs) to those who want them and a special one for Maddy xxxMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -
Tara, when I was a kid my dad spilled coffee all over my arm and then patted me down while I howled because he thought I'd somehow broken it. I think sometimes people panic when they know they've effed up, and they freeze rather than make it worse. I'm sure he won't do it again and it sounds like Maddy is fine :grouphug:

phew... this baby going to bed early has it's upsides. Without DH getting in the way (and aided by the fact that when I made Izzy's tea I made enough for me too, and just had to nuke it) I am now having a sit down after blitzing the kitchen. It is amazing how much space there is on our worksurfaces once all the empty jars and bottles are in a bag to go down to the bottle bank tomorrow, the rubbish is in the bin, everything is washed up and things are *shock horror* put away in the cupboard. :rotfl:
I didn't get as far as the floor, and I need to wipe out the insides of the cupboard and clean the inside of the fridge too, but that is enough for today. Just need to refit the child locks on the kitchen doors - not got round to that since my mum broke them all, and I keep having to stop Izzy playing with the washing powder . Having a well deserved sit down and eat some cake first though.
I'm not sure if she is coming down with something, as there has been a bit of coughing and crying in her sleep... maybe just teeth? She has been quiet for the past hour or so though, so hopefuly we won't be up too much in the night - we were up twice last night, which was a bit of a shock to the system after a few weeks of everything being ok. Early night for me I think!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

I really hate it when DH has a cold. Because he's a smoker he coughs like mad and ends up being sick or gagging and generally being !!!!ing gross for days. I could kill him right now. He doesn't even cough right, splutters and snots and is a lazy (er) crabbit (er) git.0

How did your first couple of day son WW go, Aless?
Totally OT but I've had a reaction to a Body Shop face serum. Do you think they'd refund it? Cost about £12 which is quite a lot to waste for something I can't ever use again.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I'd phone them, GISI. And thanks for asking - seems fine so far! I think yesterday I was revved up into diet mode I didn't eat enough and had loads of points extra, so today I've tried to eat more normally. I get so many points I don't think I'll need to change very much right now, just snack less and stop the indulgences. I do think I shall vere away from my ultra-low grocery budget of the moment to get much more fresh stuff next month, it being summer and all...(salads and such). (weezl look away now!
