Got to go to the bank this morning and get five £10 notes out. You have to buy a visa when you enter Turkey and you must pay with one £10 note each. They won't take a £20 for two or coins. Got a few easy calls to do while I'm out.

It's bizarre isn't it - and hasn't been affected by inflation. It was £10 per person to get in the first time we went, when J was in my tummy!

Also, we found that they will take a £20 note, but not for two people, so it's one note per person and it doesn't matter if it's a £10, £20 or £50. :rotfl:

SS Hope Mr SS's buttcam isn't too uncomfortable! :(

I'm loving the John Lewis advert song - that'd be nice to walk down the aisle too.

We're off to a lovely park today with my friend and her two lo's. We're taking a picnic, and extra bread for the ducks.

  • Morning Parents :D

Busy, busy day for me yesterday - in meetings from 8am to 5pm and then raced home to pick up the babba. Hubby and I went out to watch Tom Stade (comedian) last night - he was excellent!!

Benjamin didn't go to sleep until 9pm for MIL because she refused to put him down in his cot awake *rolleyes*

He woke about 7.15am (I think I woke him banging about in the bathroom!) and his nappy had leaked :rotfl:after I was saying the other day that they never leak! Although I think it wasn't on right because it wasn't very full. Did mean that hubby got him dressed though ;)

Wedding music - I entered to a piece called 'To A Wild Rose' which is a beautiful song which I played in a recorder recital as a kid. We signed the register to 'I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You' by Hootie and the Blowfish, and to leave we had 'Slow Boat To China' by Bette Middler!!! We got married in a Lymestone Cavern and we and all our guests were piling onto a barge to take us out of the cavern for a slow trip down the canal to our reception venue!

Aw - I loved every moment of my wedding! Can't believe it is nearly 4 years ago!

Well she was super miserable whingey yesterday morning... Impacted by my sleep deprived miserableness it ended in tears... On both parts... I had a small nap but hubby ruined it by calling (mobile 3 times, house phone twice!) until I just got up to answer the phone... But she was fine after a nap... She's been a bit more pleasant this morning so it's not too stressfull...

She has been a pain to put down to sleep the last couple of nights too so I don't know if that's related... I'm just hoping it's a short phase and this isn't the new normal!!

Eta: Actually the seahorse was on a loop last night Mfd and I did think to myself "thank god I haven't got to lie here pressing the gloworm" lol... So I guess it's working to a certain extent...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

3 that sounds lovely. I was thinking about picnics last night as thought it might be nice for fathers' day.

Sorry for everyone having bad nights last night. I did amazingly well (sorry!) but I really needed it I was knackered. A went down at 8 an I went to bed at 9. Up at 4 and 6 for feedsbut then back down til 8. Result.

Now I'm getting all the baking done that I should have done yesterday.

Hope we have another sunny day :)

Lol @ buttcam! Hope it goes ok though

So do you get a copy of the DVD once hubby's had the ButtCam? Could make for interesting viewing... ;) Hope he gets sorted soon though SS, and I hope mistress Molly adheres to your sleeping plans!!

    Morning :hello:

On the first dance talk- mine was Van Morrison's 'Have I Told You Lately' and my mum had Paul Weller 'You Do Something To Me' when she got married last year.

Busy day here. I'm off for a blood test this morning to check that I don't have any nasties for donating booby milk. Then Baby Sensory then off to the beach for a picnic. The weather here is beautiful so we're putting shorts on and making the most of it.
