SS, I'd have just nodded and said yes yes, of course you are correct. Then found out on my own if they were safe to take while BF (most are safe I think? Most common ones anyway).

Amber decided that today, when she is wearing all white, was the best day to master backwards commando crawling and I found her in the hall. Her outfit is now a suitable shade of grubby.

    OK, must clean....

Hehe Molly managed to back herself under a cupboard earlier on, her dress rode up and was saved but her tights were black :rotfl: I figure it's clean under there now after her little excursion ;)

I've emailed her a list of BF-friendly medications and am hoping she'll call me this afternoon.

I'm intrigued - what's so special about those particular dummies?

Susan I think it is just that TT have discontinued this type so the parents of babies who will only take these ones will pay outrageous amounts for them.

SS, might be worth sending her information from WHO about breastfeeding into the second year... ;)

TT discontinued them, then made an alternative which had a slightly different teat with dimples on it and different shape, then discontinued that and made another new one... both they new ones are nothing like the original and for some reason loads of babies only liked the big ones which go right the way across their mouth and had a really large round teat...Henry wouldnt take about 5 other types I tried him with...

there was a big hoo haa when they said they were changing them and I bet if they realised what they were going for now on Ebay they would wish they'd carried on making them cos loads of people stopped buying TT ones after that

I think it's just that they were discontinued Susan, and are now selling for silly money on ebay.

Glam Are you coming to Manc on Wednesday? Is that in your to-do list for this week?

Update from Sis's b/f. Amsterdam airport has now reopened, but flights obviously majorly delayed. He's coming home on the overnight ferry from Rotterdam to Hull, and should be in Hull in the morning. :(

I've been out and got OH's car fixed. The boot wouldn't lock and the garage down the road said the lock had come out of line and to take it to his BIL who could weld it back into place. I found BIL's garage, and he had a quick wiggle of it, a bang with a hammer, and its fixed, for free! :D

I've also been for cellophane to wrap sisters birthday present. She'd asked for sun lotion for her hols, so I got that, and lots of other little holiday bits to wrap as a hamper because she was so jealous of Mums christmas hamper. :D (photo to follow).

I found one of these in a draw the other weeks. Its used and 6 years old.
You can see the little "O" shape of their mouth when they are sucking it, because they are see through.

Was the only dummy Joe would take when he was tiny, then he finally accepted any cherry shaped dummy.

Alex has "issues" with dummies. He will only take the mam 0+ ones. The 6+ ones teat is slightly more rounded and it's just not good enough. Haven't been able to find any of the ones he will take in the local boots or asda. Will have to buy online.
