Good mechanic 3, you don't get many of them!

I think the milk sick sourness just depends how long the milk has been in their tummy for... I call it cottage cheese... As in "oops, Caitlyn just cottage cheesed on my arm..."

There was a tray of pasta in the fridge and hubby took his interpretation of half for lunch... The 'half' he left for me and the baby has just about fed the baby with the addition of crackers and a fruit stick thing...

Oh, and I have a few of the original TT dummies that were Aimee's... My aunt used to say her mouth looked like a dogs bum when she was sucking on them lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Nappy question, Ive seen a advert for pampers that keep babies dry for 12 hours? well do they do them in E's size (size 3) I have the superdry ones which he uses now, but take this morning for example (and its happened a few times), he woke at 4am and I think it was just cos his nappy was full, I fed him but he only took 2oz then fell asleep till 7.45am, we put him to bed between 9pm and 10pm and change his nappy then, he usually wakes at 1am-ish for another feed, and I dont change him then as sometimes I manage to dream feed him (HV also told me not to worry about changing him in the middle of the night unless he's had a poo), so are there any nappies I could buy for him to last him the night, cos I really think he would have slept longer from his 1am feed if his nappy wasnt full (I bet you all just tell me to change him in the middle of the night lol)

    *quietly*

Benjamin can sleep for 13 or 14 hours in a Pampers Babydry nappy and they very rarely leak. From when he was a teeny tiny babba I wouln't conisder changing him between 7pm and 7am unless he had done a poo.

I'm allergic to the daily disposables! I'm on monthlies now with hydrogen peroxide cleaner. It's brilliant! There's no messing on rubbing the lenses on your hand or using protien tablets or anything. You just pop them in the basket and stick them in some fresh peroxide. It reacts with a metal disc in the bottom of the case and bubbles away for 6 hours, and the bubbles do all the cleaning and disinfecting work for you. After 6 hours the peroxide has all gone and you're left with water in the pot, so you can just pop them straight into your eyes. So easy and I love it!

I use this too and it is the best invention every.
The problem I had with daily disposables is that the water content in them is so high that they made my eyes dry out - I love my monthly lenses.

The lenses I use are actually licenced for occasional overnight use too - perfect if I know I won't be in bed for a 6 hour period :D
Hmm it seems as though E is just a champion !!!!er then lol cos he already uses the superdry ones (are they the same as the babydry ones)

Are the Superdry ones the Orange packet? If so they should be called 'Economy' - they are shocking!!

We're having a living room picnic lunch.. If it's anything like party tea yesterday, this could go on for hours yet! Rhys just didn't stop grazing all afternoon.. His latest thing is pineapple. He sat watching my dad cut two up yesterday morning and now cos Grandad likes it it's the best thing ever.. well, 'til the manadarin segments come out, of course

we use the babydry ones here - used them in size 3 and now 4. I've put one on at 7pm and then not changed it until 9am and its not leaked. This usually only happens if J falls right back to sleep after his 7am bottle - normally on a weekend :j

I found one of these in a draw the other weeks. Its used and 6 years old.
You can see the little "O" shape of their mouth when they are sucking it, because they are see through.

Was the only dummy Joe would take when he was tiny, then he finally accepted any cherry shaped dummy.

So you know what I mean when I say Henry wont take any others...you cant even offer him a different one as he says no to them all...There is just nothing out there like them now...its the big teats I'm sure

I also have a huge bag of 12-18m which MIL bought in the winter sale - need to find a home for that & the 3-6 month stuff, then actually put the 6-9m in his wardrobe instead of in the wash basket!
