  • Krystal - are you here?

Wednesday - pick you up about 9.30am okay?

And did we agree that Caitlyn would be okay in the Maxi-cosi baby seat? I do actually have a spare Kiddy Infinity Pro forward facing seat if she would prefer that? Hubby has one in his car too that I could easily chuck into mine.

What time do you think we will be finished at Land of Play ladies? I am wondering if Krystal would be better off asking her friend to collect Aimee - we would have to be gone by 2pm to have any hope of being back for 3.30pm...

GISI - I meant to say I have no idea about the tummy thing. Although I lost my baby weight it's still wobbly and my belly button now looks horrendous :o
I have a scar above it from having it pierced which has stretched during pregnancy, my actual belly button is now like a gaping hole rather than a lovely scrunched up little hole and thanks to my appendix I have a scar underneath it as well.

Don't think I'll ever be wearing a bikini again - OH said if I drew some eyes on it would look like a face :(

Oh DO IT!!! I was never interested in contacts but I thought I would 'have a go' in August 2006 - I don't think there has been more than half a dozen days that I haven't worn contact lenses from the moment I got up to the moment I went to bed since! It is so liberating!! I can SEE!! I can look up or down without moving my head and I can look over my shoulder without having to be an owl - I love em!!

How is A going on his new milk?

Wore contacts every day from the age of 16 to god dunno some-point after having Joe. Had to have toric lenses. Back in the day, you just got one pair which you soaked. Since stopping wearing them regularly, I did get some from Asda optician, where I was able to buy a pack of 30 dailies to wear as and when the mood took me. Since running out i've never replaced them. As in I have been busy being a workinmummy, which translates to I am a lazy cow, that CBA. Will need eye test and contact lense check up.

:rotfl:at the "I can see". Also need them to be able to take the kids swimming. Have no intention of going under the water wearing them or anything, just that Joe can swim, but i wouldn't be able to see him. Or Alex who would be with me, because i can't see my hand in front of my face.

But at the minute Hi-index glass lenses are my friend.

Alex took to the milk fine. He has been slightly sick. As in he gets his wind up, five seconds later some milk comes back too. But it's not in the same amount as before and it seems not to continue for hours after. So it's looking good at the minute. He was sick yesterday though and that was after a yogurt and juice. Have decided to cut the yogurts out completely, along with custard type deserts. See how he goes with that. Thicker foods as in stage 2 stuff has been staying down. Along with the small amounts of buffet type food he had at mums yesterday, - little bits of sausage rolls, ham butty. And so did the blueberries I tried him with on saturday. So he is making small amounts of progress. :T

Will I be going past the asda at trafford park.

Saw a dress and cardy i like in my local asda, but didn't have my size, so was thinking of calling in either before or after the meet.

Think it is best that i avoid the Trafford Centre its self, or debit card may go into melt down.

You could drive past it...it depends on which junction you get off the motorway

Actually - that reminds me that I need directions...I think I know where it is but not 100%

    Chuffing to55er!!! (no, i haven't replied!)
I would have replied... It might not have been the kind of reply he was expecting but I don't think I'd be able to help myself lol...
Contact lenses. They are on my "to do" list. Really need to get some sorted, hate glasses in autumn & winter, due to rain factor and hate them in summer, because I can't wear sunglasses whilst driving to stop the glare, without paying for prescription sunglasses.
I got contacts for my wedding and I was expecting to be the same as Mfd in my reaction but in actual fact, I prefer wearing my glasses for seeing... I have 1 eye worse than the other, but not too bad as to need a different prescription... In glasses, the better eye makes up for the worse eye but not in contacts so my eyes feel kind of sleepy when I wear them... I also find the slip if I move my eyes too fast... And the faff of taking them out and putting them in... And not being able to see in between... Too much hassle for my liking lol... The pack of daily disposables I got for the wedding have lasted me nearly 2 years... Got about 2 pairs left and I'm due an eye test in July so I'll probably wait until then before getting anymore...
    Krystal - are you here?
    <snip>.
We said maxi cosy... She still fits in a rear facing... No idea what weight she is (16lb something in March lol)... She'd probably enjoy forward facing with Benjamin though... Whatever suits you :)

And my friend is already primed to collect her so we don't have to rush ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Do you have astigmastism? I have rugby ball shaped eyes. That's why the toric lenses are needed. So that they curve correctly and fit to my eyes. That being said. At the time of getting the dailies, they didn't do the prescription I needed in one eye in the toric ones. So i had one eye with a toric and the other with a normal lense. Didn't feel any less comfortable though.
