    Morning

Hope you get things sorted pinkpig. It's so frustrating when things like that happen.

Was getting irritated yesterday at little things that don't get done. Someone had spilled something on the kitchen floor and not mopped it up, someone had kicked the bathroom mat across the floor and not bothered putting it back, someone had dropped a tissue in the hall and left it, someone had taken the last loo roll and not filled up the holder and so on. Amazingly the "someone" isn't anyone who lives here either as they're all perfect and never do things like that *rolleyes*:D

Busy busy day again with work to do, uni and I need to go to the dentist. He's going to mend the broken tooth that didn't get fixed last time due to the emergecy coming in and discuss some x-rays that he took.

Becles - you have just totally described my house:D

Happy birthday Rhys :bdaycake:so many acheivements in 1year:A

Yeah they are them. I've been watching a few auctions on ebay & their going for £35ish.
Even used ones are about £15

Think if they are blue then they go for even more, someone had a BIN price of £45!!!:eek::eek: used prices are mad even for one, pleased to say the most I ever paid was £9 a pair and still have those unused in the cupboard. Henry only has one at night and William tends not to have one at all (although he has accepted one of these in an emergency!!)

Be careful with baby wipes. Some have alcohol in which can dry the leather out and make it crack.

Had my chipped tooth fixed. There was a hole under a filling in a big back tooth so he drilled that out and refilled it. The left side of my mouth is still stiff so eating my lunch was interesting and I've dribbled coffee everywhere :o:rotfl:

Ah you should use my OH's tip of taking painkillers an hour before dentist and then the numbness and pain wears off quicker... thats what I'll be doing later... it works for me but then I dont take painkillers ever so guess this could be why>?

It is one of the blue ones. Just doesn't have a little boat picture on.
I bought them for £5 when they had them (im aware i didn't have a child then, i was a bit weird and buying baby stuff... lol)

Kindof, i have a pair of these.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180506421017&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Becs- That seems great! I hated cleaning mine :( Another reason i had to have the disposables is because my eyes produce a mucus which coats the lenses and i cant see properly.
At the eye test i had a brand new pair on and she said they were already coated in this mucusy crap from my eye lol.

But the disposables are great, no faffing about, i just chuck them away every night and done :D
And they are £24 for 30 pairs hehe.

SS, I'd have just nodded and said yes yes, of course you are correct. Then found out on my own if they were safe to take while BF (most are safe I think? Most common ones anyway).

Amber decided that today, when she is wearing all white, was the best day to master backwards commando crawling and I found her in the hall. Her outfit is now a suitable shade of grubby.

    OK, must clean....

Susan - sorry if my last post was a bit off, i was in a rush had to get jake to nursery,(and having quite a bad day!) but i probably didnt word my original post the way it was intended, i know its best to wait till 6 months, and i found doing so did make weaning a lot easier in many ways, jakes a terrible eater and i sometimes blame myself for weaning 'early', but i did what i thought was best at the time, i think what i meant was that between 17wks and 24wks is the "allowed" weaning time, if that makes sense, ie when the hv wont tell you off!!

anyway i'll leave it at that and hope i havent offended anyone!
My query was just that you said 17-24 weeks which implies you are "supposed" to wean by 24 weeks whereas I was under the impression that the official upper limit was 26 weeks. Everyone does what they believe is best for their child based on the information they have available at the time and as long as you have done that then there is no reason to blame yourself and he might have been a poor eater anyway.

ETA: I was not offended in any way - I was just interested.

While you were all talking about ironing earlier I thought I should probably do something about the 3 piles I have here... In under an hour and a half (while Caitlyn was sleeping) I have ironed no fewer than 15 of Dave's T-Shirts and 5 pairs of jeans for Aimee... There's not even a dent in any pile...

I'm missing newborn group :( Our Elmo Live arrived on Saturday but he wasn't working... Tesco arranged for uplift and replacement sometime between 7am and 7pm today... I had the original order delivered to store and it probably would have been easier to just take this one back to store and pick another one up... At least I could have done it in my own time and not spent the day waiting... They'll probably turn up while I'm at the school anyway...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
