Yes - but not today. The house looks like a whirlwind has gone through it (It did - Joe after an overdose of Smartes cake!) I'm free tomorrow. :D

kindof- pampers start at size 3 and really do work

I might try those then for V overnight.

I kept meaning to say, i'd bought the Boots own baby dry nappies last week (they were good when J & L were babies), well, they're rubbish! Not bad during the day, but she's soaked through in the morning. :( Also, their size 4+ is a lot smaller than Huggies/Pampers size 4+.

(3 do you need to change your signature now ;))

    Thank you. ;)

 People on eBay are crazy! I'm selling a dress I bought for ten pounds 11 years ago and it's up to £15 with over a day left to go.

I'm always surprised when I see primark clothes selling for more than they cost originally on ebay (rolleyes)

oh Beenie, did I miss why you want to sell your Buzz? Is it something other than the tyre?

Susan - I understand what you're getting at. To be fair the DoH leaflet does use words like "around six months" or "at about six months" (emphasis mine) and does mention you may want to wean baby early but speak to your HV/GP. The WHO guidelines are less evasive. I think it's because the advice seems to have changed so much over short periods of time that a lot of people tend to be relaxed about following to the T that particular recommendation. But it's all interesting...I keep meaning to go read the WHO stuff to see what the scientific reasons are to satisfy my own curiosity :).

Also, funny about the dress. People can be so strange!!

Im still yet to sell my discontinued tommee tippee dummies on ebay lol. I also have loads of contact lenses solution to sell aswell.

Oooh i didn't tell you! Im allergic to my 2 weekly contact lense!

I went to specsavers to ask about daily disposables as in D&A they are very expensive and she did an eye exam thing and it took ages, she was asking loads of questions and really looking into my eyes alot.

Turns out i've developed an allergic reaction to either the 2 weekly lenses or the solution!

So its daily disposables all the way now :D

I was meant to be going out, but Lily has been sick 3 times in the last hour and a half now. And it smells so bad.
It usually smells milky but today it smells very sour, and sicky and its making me gag.
She was feeling hot to, so i have undressed her to her vest.

Waiting on HV to call me back now.

Rhys says thankyou for all the birthday wishes :o :A

... Elle, how are you doing?

I'm good ta. Helped along by the fact Rhys was born at 7.59am and I woke up at 7.55am to hear him just warbling to himself in his cot. Was very nice to hear ;)

We're having a lazy day here. Keeps pouring with rain on and off, just as the patio starts getting dry patches, it starts pouring again :( Going to see what it's like a bit later or might go swimming instead given the way Rhys was enjoying splashing about in his bath last night.

Hope everyone's having a good day, and the poorlies recover soon! xxx

Oh EA I know how you mean...Finn still sicks up quite a lot and sometimes it's fine and watery and other times it smells really sour and foul. Maybe a bath for Lily? Dunno really, sometimes babies are strange :D.

Okay eBay is DONE. I still have a few more baby bits, but I'm waiting until he outgrows the very last of his 0-3 things and then I will sell the last lot altogether plus some fairy offerings to repay the kind donation hammyhunter gave us of clothes :). Am hoping 1 thing I'm selling goes well and will fund this summer's swimming suit :D.

Why is it every time I comtemplate going outside, it instantly clouds up and looks like rain? Grrrr...

Morning all, hope all babies mummies and daddies are well

Just popped in to ask a question

Someone bought one of those 'reworked' petite star zia's from nurseryvalue (I thought it was 3? but might have imagined that)

    Would you recommend it?
Was it in pretty good condition when it arrived?
Do you you get any sort of warranty on them?
Do they come with a raincover?

    Thanks
    Sadie

    Twas me :)
Yes I'd recommend it. I couldn't see that it had ever been used. The tyres were new and it was in 'as new' condition. For half the normal retail [+++++++ price . Sorry C is pressing the number pad. It didn't come with a raincover (the magic fairies sent me one though!), and I can't remember about the warranty but it says on the description I think.

I'm with MFD, no matter how much or little Alex eats/drinks, his sleeping is still crap. And mummy lives in a constant zombie state.:(

Happy Birthday lovely Rhys Alary! I hope Mummy and Daddy spoil you rotten today. You all deserve a very, very special day and thinking of your journey warms me heart and fills me with inspiration and joy.

What a lovely way to say Happy Birthday to Rhys. :D

Think Beenie is becoming a little obsessed with prams. Move over Tia and Caz. :rotfl:
