    Happy Birthday Rhys!! :T:T

The hen weekend was fab! The houseas amazing, a gorgeous barn in the middle of nowhere. There was another hen weekend in the barn adjoining ours and they had a stripper on Saturday night - he came to ours first by mistake and we couldn't believe whoever answered the door turned them away!!

MFD - she loved the flip flops! She said she almost bought some herself.

Was mightily peed off with DH when I got back though and took myself and C off for an hour. Why can't they use common sense and do stuff while we're gone?? I had a load of washing in and a load in the dryer on Friday when I went. I got back yesterday and the stuff in the dryer was in a heap on the table, and the stuff in the washer was now sat in the dryer still damp. He says 'but I turned it on' so I said 'you didn't check it though did you, and couldn't fold the other stuff up either.' I made them a meat and potato pie for their tea on Saturday as DSDs were here too. I made the pastry and told him all he had to do was roll it out and put it on top of the pie. I got back and they hadn't had it. It was 'too much faff' so they'd had a chinese instead. He says we can have it tonight instead!! Yeah - cos I'm here to do the faffing!!:mad: I know it's not very MSE but I'd rather chuck it in the bin!! GRRR, I'm going cos I'm workin myself up again!

    Morning

Hope you get things sorted pinkpig. It's so frustrating when things like that happen.

Was getting irritated yesterday at little things that don't get done. Someone had spilled something on the kitchen floor and not mopped it up, someone had kicked the bathroom mat across the floor and not bothered putting it back, someone had dropped a tissue in the hall and left it, someone had taken the last loo roll and not filled up the holder and so on. Amazingly the "someone" isn't anyone who lives here either as they're all perfect and never do things like that *rolleyes*:D

Busy busy day again with work to do, uni and I need to go to the dentist. He's going to mend the broken tooth that didn't get fixed last time due to the emergecy coming in and discuss some x-rays that he took.
Here I go again on my own....

Morning. I hope all the poorly people on here feel better soon.

Happy Birthday lovely Rhys Alary! I hope Mummy and Daddy spoil you rotten today. You all deserve a very, very special day and thinking of your journey warms me heart and fills me with inspiration and joy.

Pinkpig- glad you had a nice time, but grrrr at your OH for being a lazy so and so. It drives me mad when I go to the effort of leaving food for my DH and he just has cereal for tea. Now I don't even bother!

I am so, so tired this morning. We had a very wakeful night and ended up getting up at 6 for the second day running. I'm thinking of booking a lovely massage or facial or something for this week as I desperately need some time out.

That reminded me, my M&D babysat the other night so we could go to the theatre and she put one of Henry's size 6's on William :rotfl:didnt seem to bother him :rotfl:

Happy Birthday Rhys. Love from Violet :kisses3:xxx :bdaycake:

    Happy new tooth Kian!

Becles - we have a 'someone' in our house too.

We went to the Liverpool comedy festival night last night (with tickets I won) - it was very funny, a few comedians i'd heard of (locally) and one or two I'd not.

After saying L seemed better yesterday, she was sick last night for Nanny :( so she's off school today.

J had a lovely birthday yesterday with lots of visitors and presents. I'd got a Smarties cake from Tesco which seemed to go straight to his head!

My sisters boyfriend has been working in The Galapogos for 8 weeks and was due home this morning. (He's got some absolutely fab photos on facebook). He got from The Galapogos to Equador, then from Equador to Amsterdam, now he's trapped in Amsterdam until the airport reopens. :( My sister will go nuts if he's not back in time for her birthday tomorrow.

Morning all, hope all babies mummies and daddies are well

Just popped in to ask a question

Someone bought one of those 'reworked' petite star zia's from nurseryvalue (I thought it was 3? but might have imagined that)

    Would you recommend it?
Was it in pretty good condition when it arrived?
Do you you get any sort of warranty on them?
Do they come with a raincover?

    Thanks
    Sadie

    :j Happy Birthday Rhys! :j

Last night was a crap one for us for some reason - thought we had turned a corner, but oh well! I also had this dream that for some reason I went to work for the day, leaving Finn with DH but forgot to leaving him some milk! I was very upset and crying that Finn was going to wake up from his nap and be starving and I was being a Bad Mummy. :o

Not sure what's planned for today other than some baking...found a new Wriggles & Rhyme thingee to go to on Monday afternoons but not sure I can be bothered now...I still think he's a wee bit young.

eta: caz just reminded me, I do have a big eBay haul to list! Photos are done, just need to write out the descriptions and upload the listings.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

On weaning it's still not really happening here. Erin sits with us at dinner time (in her antelope). The finger food goes in but just falls out again and the mush goes down but I'm too lazy to do it often and as I often rush breakfast I haven't been giving her any. I'm just too lazy and BFing is too easy! I would like easier nappies though, I've just about had enough of the runny poo. The thing Erin seems to like eating most is paper and cardboard.
If you keep offering the fingerfood eventually it will start to go in and down... And she'd let you know if she wanted more than she's getting now... :) (Make the most of it while it's easy!!)

Sorry you missed the auction Krystal, I hate it when I do that.

I'm going to call the doctor and see if I can get an appointment for today and Husband isn't doing well and may need to be hospitalised again :( And we're supposed to be going away next weekend :(
It wouldn't be so bad if there were more on there but they just don't come up...

Hope Husband is easily fixed (or at least patched up and sent on his way quickly) Did you have any joy finding a nicer hospital?

I have a house like that... It's not so much the "someone" that does the things... It's the fact that they expect "someone" to put it right/pick it up/throw it away/wash it, dry it, fold it, put it away... But that someone is ME!!!!!

Have a ((hug)) from me today Elle and hope you enjoy a calm and happy day with your 1 year old :)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
