IIRC - If i recall correctly...

What age did you all go to Size 4 nappies?! I seem to remember a few people saying they were using 3's for ages but i've just ordered some 4's.

I think her current 3's fit fine, but i prefer them to be a bit too big i think?? Easier to put on... Not MSE though, you get less!! She's probably knocking on for 16lb by now.

I did NOT know that if you use a sniping site to win an ebay item you don't get Plus Points :mad: Not happy :( Even though you have to spend about £100 to get 1p back or something equally stupid. Not the point tho :(.

    Thanks :D

I have 340 ebay points at the moment :D

I got most through bonus offers though :)

Quido declined my cashback :( OH got his 3 phone through there and they declined it as it wasn't in my name :( Meanies.

Riiight, im going to do Lilys bottles then bed. Night all :D
  • I was strict about it but only with my own babies. Neither were weaned before 6 months as they were satisfied on milk alone and I wanted to leave it as long as possible.

And obviously birth weight was not an issue!! :rotfl:

    xx

LOL - it was your 2 I was thinking of when I typed it ;) I also think a couple of the pure BLW babies waited (Fritha springs to mind) but not many others.

Is it true that a heavier baby needs a bigger portion? I don't believe that. Benjamins portion sizes haven't changed since he was about 9 months - I would be bringing his dinner in a truck by the time he was 5 if I kept giving him more and more!!!

We are going to disneyland Paris :T:T:T:Tnot that i am excited:p
I have a DS who is at the awkward age 3. Thinks he is too big for his buggy but by 3 pm is flagging for a nap. Did think about hiring when we are there but it is 9E a day and we are there for 5 days so will be 45E=£45 (almost)

Lucky you off to DLP, want to go again but will wait till LO is older. We just one of these for Henry for when he is tired

I'm using jars atm and find Cow & Gate to be tasteless and bland, but Hipp Organic actually tastes like real food. I've only been giving her jars a few nights though so have only tried about 3 flavours lol. Baby rice before that, just to suss it out really and see how she took to spoon feeding.

She is v.good at feeding herself a half rusk lol. I expected there to be a little bit left over that was too small to hold but she managed to eat it all, she <3's them.

Been wondering about William but he cant fully sit up on his own yet.. no doubt nursery will let me know soon

EA, Dave and I both got new contracts through O2 and quidco paid on both?

Mfd, Caitlyn's consumption has increased about double in the past couple of weeks... All of a sudden she can't put enough down her neck... (You watch her prove me wrong and not eat anything on Wed lol)

Beenie, I moved Caitlyn up a size when her morning nappies were the size of space hoppers... But she only has a pampers at night and washables in the day... (and we use size 6s now because my friend gets them for free and she has an abundance ;))
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    evening all,

i still have a very snotty, coughing, being sick bubba. i am sooooooooo over changing sheets/pjs/muslins twice an evening.

and to add to the woes tonight, she constantly has her fingers in her mouth so i am thinking more teeth will be showing soon (her side bottom gums look very full)

i'm feeling worse for wear but dont want to feel too sorry for myself as LO is worse than me. just wish i could help her more.

reading all the food chat - i am just wondering about LOs feeding themselves with spoons etc. i haven't pushed the issue with LO but she just likes to spin a spoon around and chew on the handle end. she may move it towards her cereal/yoghurt but never tries it feed herself.

What I want is a very very small buggy. I have a great buggy which is fine in my car but fills the boot of my peugeot 206 (which we will be taking) so won't have much space for case (and shopping:o)

I'm assuming there are only three of you going? Have you thought about stowing stuff in other places in the car, such as the back seat footwells and on the back seat next to your son? I had a small sports car and took my boys to Scotland on holiday and we managed to fit masses of stuff in by using the spare half of the back seat and the footwells.

Does anyone have any idea what on earth what pudding I can make for my friend next week, who is allergic to egg, dairy, chocolate and nuts? :(

Is pastry ok? Not sure if marg counts towards a dairy allergy or not :o Normandy apple tart is easy and looks impressive.

Line a flan dish with pastry. Fill with some stewed apple. Arrange apple slices on the top. Melt some apricot jam and paint a glaze on the top. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes and it should look like this:

    2063908722_7a330529e6.jpg

Sorry it's not a specific recipe as I don't bother weighing stuff out when I do it :o

Weaning - think Josh was about 4-4½ months old, as that's what age "they" said to start at then, and he was my first so I did as "they" said!

James was just over three months, but he was a very hungry baby and my GP told me to do it. I wouldn't have tried that young without medical advice.

Charlotte was five months old. Mother instincts kicked in and I knew she seemed ready. I gave her a couple of spoons of apple puree one afternoon, and she loved it so we continued.

Craig was making egg sandwiches earlier (Glam will know why :D) and Charlotte was on my knee but could see him in the kitchen. She said "eeeh there's Dad making eggs all by himself" in a really shocked voice and it sounded really funny :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....
