It's MFD's fault for getting that lovely pram isn't it....!! ;)

I loved that pink thing of bops, it's still out in the drying room. It was lightweight, easy to fold, could hold heaps of crap on the handles and the basket underneath was perfecto for 12 packs of diet coke :D

I'm not keen on MFD's Stokke, they're a bit weird looking for me.

Mmmm didn't i say the exact same thing about the Quinny a few weeks ago? And the Joolz... I'm such a buggy tart i can't afford to be one of those i'm a dooooooooleyyyyyyyy

sorry to but in but could i ask some advice about a buggy

We are going to disneyland Paris :T:T:T:Tnot that i am excited:p
I have a DS who is at the awkward age 3. Thinks he is too big for his buggy but by 3 pm is flagging for a nap. Did think about hiring when we are there but it is 9E a day and we are there for 5 days so will be 45E=£45 (almost)

What I want is a very very small buggy. I have a great buggy which is fine in my car but fills the boot of my peugeot 206 (which we will be taking) so won't have much space for case (and shopping:o)

Which do you think is the smallest and where are the best priced ones?

Am not apposed to a second hand one if i knew which is best eg is the quinny zapp too small for a 3 yr old?

    Thanks guys

I got a second hand maclaren on ebay for holiday, it was a good model though as we needed reclining but it was still only £30 including postage. It has a carry handle as well which was great as Erin wasn't in it all the time.

IIRC - If i recall correctly...

What age did you all go to Size 4 nappies?! I seem to remember a few people saying they were using 3's for ages but i've just ordered some 4's.

I think her current 3's fit fine, but i prefer them to be a bit too big i think?? Easier to put on... Not MSE though, you get less!! She's probably knocking on for 16lb by now.

Erin is about 17lbs but still in huggies size 3, we tried a size 4 but it was just huge.

On weaning it's still not really happening here. Erin sits with us at dinner time (in her antelope). The finger food goes in but just falls out again and the mush goes down but I'm too lazy to do it often and as I often rush breakfast I haven't been giving her any. I'm just too lazy and BFing is too easy! I would like easier nappies though, I've just about had enough of the runny poo. The thing Erin seems to like eating most is paper and cardboard.

Hey all have been lurking all weekend and never got around to posting! Loving all the pics that have been posted tho :D

beenie - no advice on folding raincovers other than brute force and ignorance lol, oh and inner tubes are £10 if you want a genuine quinny one, have you seen the slime stuff on amazon tho? No more punctures once you fill your tyres with it.

Did email the net mum posting about the nappies but taking it from the lack of response that they already got snapped up. On the nappy front we're keeping T in size 1 for a bit longer as the 2s leak! She must be about 10lb 9 by now but has such a non exsistent lil bum lol.

Had a complete spending spree weekend, all on T tho :D she had a cast of her hand and foot done on sat and then we bought her a vtech busy bee and a black and White cot book cos she loves b&w images. Today I went a lil eBay mad and got her a vtech spin and discover thingy and an L&G already (£22 and less than a 3 mile drive to collect so too good to miss!)

Right enough about us, hope all those with colds etc feel better soon xx and everyone has a good nights sleep xx

Morning all. To my great surprise, I only got up about 15 mins earlier than normal this morning, despite Izzy falling asleep on me last night about an hour and a half before her normal time. Result :)

MFD - totally agree about the age limits - I think I weaned Roo at 20 weeks because she seemed ready although DD1 was weaned at 12 weeks:eek: cos that was the guidelines 16 years ago and shes fine. Really struggling to get Roo to eat much at the minute so just giving her as much high cal foods as I can ( you can see her ribs and backbone) but she has so much energy she never sits still

We had that problem - as soon as she worked out how to roll she stopped putting on weight, and when she learnt to crawl she started to get lighter again . I had to mix big dollops of butter in with everything to fatten her up a bit. I haven't got her weighed for ages, but my arms tell me she is putting weight on again now, which isn't surprising really, the amount of cheese and biscuits she eats. :rotfl:

Glad to hear hubby is hopefully OK, and sorry you are all snotty :(

Does anyone have any idea what on earth what pudding I can make for my friend next week, who is allergic to egg, dairy, chocolate and nuts? :(

Wow, that is quite a list! I'm pretty sure if you look on a vegan website you will be able to find dairy free sponge cake mixture? Then you could use that to make an apple sponge, or a pineapple upside down cake or something?

In my family, we have a vegetarian (me!... but I'll eat pretty much anything so long as it is vegetarian, so I'm the easy one), one sugar allergy (My Mum, not diabetic, but properly allergic to sugar - she can't eat bought bread as it has sugar in, or even the amount of natural sugar in a cucumber is sometimes too much for her), one allergy/intollerance to tomatoes and peppers (DH - he has stomach issues, and they set him off. He also is meant to avoid juice and beer... like that is going to happen :rotfl:). And then my dad, brother and Izzy who are normal. And sometimes when we go to theirs for dinner it is also with someone who is ceoliac (I'm sure I've not spelt that right) and BF, so can't eat lots of things we normally give her, as it upsets the baby. I'm used to having to think round allergies ;)

    Happy birthday lovely Rhys!

    Elle, how are you doing?

Beenie, the Stokke does not look weird. It looks futuristic and awesome.

Sorry you missed the auction Krystal, I hate it when I do that.

Molly has once again half-inched my handbag from nowhere near the play mat and is now chewing on the leather strap. I think further tooth activity is going on, she was a monster all night too. And both parents are wrecks too from various sicknesses, I'm going to call the doctor and see if I can get an appointment for today and Husband isn't doing well and may need to be hospitalised again :( And we're supposed to be going away next weekend :(
