Boogie - If I'd have seen tot bots for that price I'd have bought loads! :-)

I only didn't as I've got 6 pack's of that size under the cot upstairs! I was tempted though and got some new wraps.

I've just text my friend, she bought some this morning, I knew I'd seen them at £16!

    Rant alert.

DH is out with neighbour to 'cheer him up' (that in itself is a joke, female neighbour is off on holiday alone to think, their marriage is in trouble, so DH is out there to cheer him up, despite the fact that ours is this close to over). Popped my head out once Amber was sleeping and heard a racket.

DS1 is fighting with the boy, J, while others look on and DH is standing there yelling at him to hit him, kick him etc. Then stones get thrown, Chris gets hurt, DH yells at J 'oi !!!!o, hit Michael not Chris!' so I get Christopher in with many tears and tell DH to act his age.

Eventually I managed to get Michael in, DH follows and then we have an argument over how encouraging him to fight is exactly what those little gits want bla bla bla.

But apparently, I'm wrong. Went out to get my washing in and J is in my garden asking for Michael to come out 'because he hit me first bla bla bla', so I end up in an argument with two 8 year olds, a 12 year old (sister of the other one) and some random teenager from a house opposite, about how Michael was in for the night, Christopher got hurt and I was not letting Michael out to fight, and yes, Christopher did get hurt even if you were actually aiming for someone else, he was the one who for a face full of stones.

So now DH is out their with neighbour making a fool of me and my 'temper tantrum'. Know what? I don't know why I'm still here, but then, where would I go anyway? And now I have a bunch of kids thinking it's fun to throw stuff at my window!

    Hi ladies

Massive get well soon vibes to Glam :) You've got to get well soon my lovely, as you've inspired me to jump on the MFW train so I need to swap tips with you :D

Lots of people seem to be having sleepless nights/poorly babies, so hugs to everyone who needs them.

MFD - I went into the nursery on Wednesday for the chat and it went really well. They apologised for the couple of things that weren't right and I'm happy with their explanations. They've spoken to the staff members involved and hopefully everything will be OK now. Caitlin seems to be settling in well, which I'm pleased with (apart from getting bitten on her face by another child on Thursday . The nursery staff got there before said child broke Caitlin's skin, but she's still got a nasty bite mark :(. It's faded quite a lot now, but it still looks horrible).

Jillie - I don't know if you're still worried about Kian's eating but I just wanted to let you know that C has suddenly found her appetite at 10 months old, so there is hope :D.
She has gone from having a few teaspoons of porridge or weetabix for breakfast to eating a whole weetabix (or equivalent in porridge) most days. She's also eating about 50% more for her main course for her dinner and tea too.
I don't know if she's more hungry now that she's on the move (crawling and pulling herself up on everything in sight) or whether she's suddenly decided that she likes eating, but either way, it's a huge improvement.
I wanted to let you know as I know you were (are?) worried about K, and I was about Caitlin too, but the difference in the last week is amazing so I'm sure Kian's appetite will increase too.

maz, finn was 15 lbs at his jabs the other week. No signs of teeth yet, just increased knawing on toys, but pretty sure they all do that as this age.

Will likely start putting food on his tray sometime next month as i plan doing the BLW thing so no rush. He's not shown any interest yet, so am not much bothered.

Have been thinking about a door bouncer actually - evie likes hers?

Sounds like you need some hugs tia ((hugs)). BTW, loving the new avvy (and the paddling pool pics on FB).

Newbie_Maz - hi, I don't think we've "met" before. Congrats on the job interview and the weight loss :)

My friend has lent us a L&G and it's great for popping C in it whilst I hang the washing out/nip upstairs as otherwise she tries to wreck my living room...however many toys are within her reach, she prefers pulling herself up on the coal scuttle then putting her hands inside, pulling herself up on the TV unit and throwing anything within reach (photo frames, remotes, etc) on to the floor or - her favourite - pulling the corner protector things off the corners of the fireplace then chewing them!.

I haven't found she leans forward in the L&G but she is 6 months older than Evie and Amber so probably balances herself a bit more?

thanks choppy, it does put my mind at ease when others say the same. :)
it seems from what people have said on here, that babies who do 'their own thing' (BLW) tend to get the eating loads thing at a later stage than babies who do the puree thing.
he still has 5 bottle a day and little bits but just refuses to let me feed him apart from formage frais if i'm lucky. he is putting weight on and i know he is not hungry. just doesnt like being fed lol!! independent shoite!!!

...what the holy hell Tia, that is utterly atrocious, I am so sorry you're being forced to tolerate behaviour like that :(

And long-range hugs for Glam too - here's hoping it's "just" the appendix :(

Yeah, but how do I say 'this is unacceptable' without losing my temper? I need a list. I need to write a long list of all the issues and maybe if he has to actually face it he will grow up and deal with it.

And of course, now he is nowhere to be found. Probably out for a walk with the neighbour and his dog.
