Rant alert.
DH is out with neighbour to 'cheer him up' (that in itself is a joke, female neighbour is off on holiday alone to think, their marriage is in trouble, so DH is out there to cheer him up, despite the fact that ours is this close to over). Popped my head out once Amber was sleeping and heard a racket.
DS1 is fighting with the boy, J, while others look on and DH is standing there yelling at him to hit him, kick him etc. Then stones get thrown, Chris gets hurt, DH yells at J 'oi !!!!o, hit Michael not Chris!' so I get Christopher in with many tears and tell DH to act his age.
Eventually I managed to get Michael in, DH follows and then we have an argument over how encouraging him to fight is exactly what those little gits want bla bla bla.
But apparently, I'm wrong. Went out to get my washing in and J is in my garden asking for Michael to come out 'because he hit me first bla bla bla', so I end up in an argument with two 8 year olds, a 12 year old (sister of the other one) and some random teenager from a house opposite, about how Michael was in for the night, Christopher got hurt and I was not letting Michael out to fight, and yes, Christopher did get hurt even if you were actually aiming for someone else, he was the one who for a face full of stones.
So now DH is out their with neighbour making a fool of me and my 'temper tantrum'. Know what? I don't know why I'm still here, but then, where would I go anyway? And now I have a bunch of kids thinking it's fun to throw stuff at my window!0 -
maz, finn was 15 lbs at his jabs the other week. No signs of teeth yet, just increased knawing on toys, but pretty sure they all do that as this age.
Will likely start putting food on his tray sometime next month as i plan doing the BLW thing so no rush. He's not shown any interest yet, so am not much bothered.

thanks choppy, it does put my mind at ease when others say the same.

it seems from what people have said on here, that babies who do 'their own thing' (BLW) tend to get the eating loads thing at a later stage than babies who do the puree thing.
he still has 5 bottle a day and little bits but just refuses to let me feed him apart from formage frais if i'm lucky. he is putting weight on and i know he is not hungry. just doesnt like being fed lol!! independent shoite!!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Yeah, but how do I say 'this is unacceptable' without losing my temper? I need a list. I need to write a long list of all the issues and maybe if he has to actually face it he will grow up and deal with it.
And of course, now he is nowhere to be found. Probably out for a walk with the neighbour and his dog.0 -
