    hey all,

    get well vibes for glam

    got Evie a L&G the other day - was reduced from £84.99 to £69.99 in mothercare and OH had won £70 high street vouchers from work last week so decided it was fate! :D its great and she loves it but she looks a bit uncomfy in it cos she slopes forward in the seat?
    her favourite is still her door bouncer tho, she loves it and moans when i take her out after 20 mins.

    aless and Beenie - how much do Finn & Amber weigh now? any sign of teeth? when u planning on starting weaning? (sorry for all qns :o - i like to ask cos i know they're pretty much same age as Evie)

    xx

    Jam I spent load's on that site this morning, I keep going back and buying more as I see stuff that I'm sure wasn't there before! If anyone was thinking of using washable nappies they've got tots bots for about £16 for 5, I've seen pre-loved one's sell for that much! I was seriously tempted to buy an Ergo sling too for OH (well me, but that was my excuse!)

    Booboo - Isla love's rice cakes too. I gave her one yesterday and she was smacking her chop's and smiling the whole time, barely a crumb was wasted. She had another today to entertain her while I got to eat my food in peace :)

    Scrap that - just searched for the nappies again and it look's like they've gone now, I can only find the dearer pack.

    Amber sloped forward a bit too, and sucked on the seat lol! But she seems to have mastered it now. Haven't tried her in the door bouncer yet, we have a Tigger one somewhere.

    I got Amber weighed on Wednesday at 19 weeks and she was 15lb 6oz!
    No sign of teeth but she's dribbling big time and really bites down hard on her teethers (or anything else she gets her mitts on :p)

    I started weaning her last week. Well kind of, i gave her some baby rice cos i had some formula left in a carton that i didn't wanna waste. She loved it and cried when it was finished so i made more and she ate all that too lol! I've given her some every night since then at tea time, but tonight she wasn't fussed and kept shoving her hand in her mouth instead so i might leave it now for a bit. Haven't tried her with anything else except the rice. I wasn't gonna do it this early so i'm happy to stick with the bland stuff for a good while yet.

    ooh, and exciting news:
    • i lost 7lb in 4 weeks!! :j :j and;
    • i have an interview for a better job at work on Monday!
    They only told me yesterday tho so too late for OH to get time off. Luckily OHs mum doesn't work and his dad has relaxed bosses so booked last minute holiday so they're coming up tomorrow & babysitting on Monday. Quite nervous but mainly cos i'll be gone about 2.5 hours and i've never left her that long, even with OH! almost makes me not want to go...

    KOAG -I think this is the sort of sling people are talking about for E (correct me if I'm wrong) and it seems cheap-ish.

    Beenie your producing gold top their for Amber :) Isla was weighed on thursday, at 24 weeks she's 14lb 4oz. She'd only put 10oz on in 4 weeks so I told OH I produce skimmed milk :rotfl: She's got fatty knee's and cheeky chop's though so I'm not worrying.

    Well done Maz and all the best for the interview.
