  • Tia - I don't know what to say hun but big ((HUGS)) if hubby ever encouraged one of the boys to fight with anyone I would hit the roof. Not to say that I don't want the boys to be boys (and I think the odd scrap is part of that ifI am honest) adults should know better and should always intervene.

MFD - I went into the nursery on Wednesday for the chat and it went really well. They apologised for the couple of things that weren't right and I'm happy with their explanations. They've spoken to the staff members involved and hopefully everything will be OK now. Caitlin seems to be settling in well, which I'm pleased with (apart from getting bitten on her face by another child on Thursday . The nursery staff got there before said child broke Caitlin's skin, but she's still got a nasty bite mark :(. It's faded quite a lot now, but it still looks horrible).

*hopes that this was aimed at me because I showed an interest, not because I made you feel bad about how you dealt with the situation*

Glad you went and got to the bottom of things. Better to have it all out in the open than have it lurking around unsaid.

OMG about the biting!! One of my extensive list of childcare questions was about dealing with children who bite (because so many of them do go through it) do you know what they did about the situation? Poor C - have you had an apology off the mother of the child involved. I would be mortified if Benjamin did that to another child (and it could SO easily be one of ours doing it soon enough).

I did think of another question that I would add to my list earlier but I have forgotten it now *baby brain*

Jillie - Caitlin was a mixture of purees and finger food from the beginning (more purees to be honest) and her appetite was still rubbish! He's happy and putting weight on, they're the important things - everything else will come eventually (says the voice of experience :D:D:D)

Beenie your producing gold top their for Amber :) Isla was weighed on thursday, at 24 weeks she's 14lb 4oz. She'd only put 10oz on in 4 weeks so I told OH I produce skimmed milk :rotfl: She's got fatty knee's and cheeky chop's though so I'm not worrying.

Well done Maz and all the best for the interview.

I wonder if it's connected to my chip pan diet  :rotfl:

Gonna have to bf for about 16 years before i start losing any weight i think

I got Amber weighed on Wednesday at 19 weeks and she was 15lb 6oz!
No sign of teeth but she's dribbling big time and really bites down hard on her teethers (or anything else she gets her mitts on :p)

Wow! last got Evie weighed at 16 weeks and she was 11lb 6oz, so reckon she's about 12lb or a couple of oz more now. Might take her to be weighed next week.

She's got chubby chops and chubby thighs tho!
:j Very proud mummy to Evie Mae born 26/12/09 :j
Aims for 2010 - be a good mummy, lose (some) weight, clear (some) debts, be happy :D
