    Update on Glam..
She's just about to go down to theatre now. It could be her appendix or could be bowel or ovary, which could be connected to or an entirely other issue to her appendix - they won't know until they have a look

Obviously I've sent her hugs and get well vibes from everyone :o

:rotfl: She sounds like a right little madam. Good body control though, so she might beat you up but you can boast that she is clearly advanced because she can co-ordinate her hands and legs :D Babies are good fun. I hate when they go rigid though, so you can't put them in bouncy chair or whatever as they won't relax their body, they just go like a plank and I'm "arrrrrrrrrrgh what do I dooooooooo"

Keira was a very good baby though and even then I sometimes got really stressed out, I dunno how I'd of coped if I had gotten a screamer :o

She generally is a great baby, just sometimes she'll be a winge! Its mainly after her jabs, even though she was really good for the whole day after them.
OH said she was prob thinking "I cant be naughty other mummy and daddy will stab me again :("
    :rotfl:

She does the rigid thing sometimes to! She has to lay in her pram anyway so it doesn't bother me so much. But my brothers used to do the rigid thing, so i would essentially fold them to get them to sit down, mwahahaha.

Its what you get for being a little person!:p

Beenie - I know its no help now. But when Amber is old enough to understand what a total nob end he is, she will be thankful she has a fantastic mummy who done everything she could to provide the best for her.

Glam, i hope it goes ok! Get well vibes for you x

You don't have to run it - most people walk it ;)
Becles - I did the race for life a couple of year's ago and I'm the most unfit person ever :o Lot's of women jog, walk or leisureley stroll it too if you don't fancy running the whole 5k.

Thanks - that's put my mind at rest. I'm not a runner and don't think I'd be able to run all of the way.

why is it so cold and horrible? It's May!! :p:p

It's been really cold here as the wind is icy cold and it was hurting my sinuses when I was out this morning, but it blew all my washing dry so I can't complain!

Beanie - you've got my sympathies. It seems hard now, but give it a few years and when she's the same age as my boys, she'll work him out all for herself ;)

Love to Glam and hope the operation goes ok xx

Got my Furminator today and it's marvellous. I used the normal rake brush on Bob to get the general debris and tats out, then spent about 20 minutes on him with the Furminator. It was amazing how much fur came out - had a carrier bag full! Was sitting on the kitchen floor doing it and ended up having to hoover the kitchen and my legs as my trousers were thick of fur :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

LOL Rhys is sat on the floor, very gently playing with his wooden blocks and then putting them down, sitting bolt upright, hands on his knees whenever a girl is singing on Over The Rainbow. Once the singing is finished, he picks the blocks up again :rotfl:

EA, Finn's just over 4 months (18 weeks, I think? oh gosh, brain fart!) and really it's only in the past few weeks that he's become interested in toys and definitely only in the last 2 that he will grab a toy and put it in his mouth (before that, it was more half-hearted batting). He has a activity mat with toys dangling over him which he really loved from early on (even if it took him a few weeks to actually understand the concept of the toys above him, if that makes sense). Anyway, I felt the same way when he was Lily's age...it will come with time! Just enjoy her now as now that he understands playing and toys, he demands attention much much more now and I can't just leave him to entertain himself on the mat nearly as much as I used to :p.

I think I will go with a L&G in the end as they're much cheaper...they both (L&G and Jumperoo) seem similar and we could never fit both in the house, so L&G seems more practical. Unless people have other opinions?

Benjamin is not on form at all. He hardly ate any lunch, is coughing and his nose is permanently running (it has been like that for a month now) and after lunch he came to me for a cuddle screaming his head off whilst he did a poo :(

In bed now, just praying for a more settled night than last night for him.

Although when we were having dinner he had us all in stitches - the dishwasher had just finished and beeps every 10 seconds or so for about a minute. Every time it beeped Benjamin was copying it saying 'beep' :rotfl::rotfl:
