£140 for 5 hours work.

Argh, stressful day. The seller on ebay has emailed me to say my bridesmaid dresses might not be here in time for the wedding!!!!
Even though i emailed him before i bought them to ask if they would be here and he said yes!!

How long do you have to get a claimback on paypal? Is it 45 days or 60?

Have the post natal check up today, think i have to have the rubella injection so i have to do a pregnancy test first.

Am i allowed to refuse it? Because i dont really like things being injected into me. And i doubt im ever going to catch rubella.
I refused the swine flu one to, and i was fine :D

rubella is a very serious if you were to contract it while PG. i would advise as others, that you look on net or speak to your gp about this. the more people who dont have rubella vaccination the more likely you are to be at risk to contract the disease. so i would say it is likely you could catch rubella, i did as a child. i think for the small discomfort you may have far outweighs the problems you could have if you were to contract rubella whilst PG.

is it the injection you dont like or what the vaccine is made up of? are you letting lily have her jabs?

It's not really £140 for 5 hours work though.

There's a lot of "behind the scenes" work preparing for an event. Craig used to spend time talking to the party organiser finding out exactly what they did want, what they didn't want, times of speeches, first dances etc., so he could make a rough plan of how to approach the evening. Sometimes he had to research and buy specific music especially for first dances, and sometimes the guests wanted request slips on the tables so he had to print those and cut them up. On the day of the event, there's travelling time and it took about an hour setting the equipment up and testing it, then about 45 mins clearing it away afterwards. Depending on the venue, sometimes he had to go early and set up then travel back again for the party which increased his petrol costs.

He had to buy all the equipment initially, then there was time and cost checking bulbs, leads and stuff and doing routine maintenance on the equipment. You don't want stuff breaking down in the middle of a party! He had to have public liability insurance, pay for PAT testing on the equipment and a licence to play digital music in public. Plus time and money spent doing all the usual business functions - accounts, marketing, posting out quotes and information, maintaining a website and so on.

Sorry for going on but it really bugs me when people just look at the fee paid for the actual party and assume it's easy money :o

    *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH*

World War 3 broke out last night - all *my* fault apparently!
One on the horses, got a £120 hotel room for last night then all hell broke loose cos I said one little thing (but lots of little things contributed to it) so ended up cancelling room, spending £50 on a meal which I didn't even eat and drove home at 10pm. :(

IL's were going home but now they are staying so need to try and make things better again! :o
