I know it's not nice seeing them crying and feeling helpless. I was up with Holly last night a few times as she is still suffering from trapped wind. She seems to scream in her sleep occasionally but it doesn't wake her up. For what it's worth, everything I read said that it's not as sore for the baby as you think it is. It's just that crying is the only think they can do. It will get better. Once he is about 3 months old, it should calm down as his digestive system will have developed more.
For the time being, all you can do is try and stay calm because he will pick up on your stress and it will make him worse. Keep going with the Colief for another week or so and if it isn't making any difference, try Colacynth granules or something else. I personally wouldn't change his milk around again though as that could unsettle his little tummy. Colic is just one of those things that loads of people get though and whilst some things help some poeple, it doesn't magically cure it otherwise we would all know about it. You just need to ride it out and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. x0 -
kindof do you use gripe water? x

Thanks Fitzio, I sucked at staying calm yesterday, most of yesterday was spent with both me and E crying lol
(I am on my period though so I am blaming that for my crying cos I am can normally handle it)
Yeah I dont want tto change his milk again cos he seems to like it, he drinks loads of it lol
Weezl we tried Gripe Water second for 2 weeks but wasnt working so the dr prescribed Colief
Som I am not even sure if we do have a drop in to be honest, hopefully he will be ok till we can get there tomorrow
I am going to vote later on when OH gets in from work
Tara thanksso if I get 6-12 months then they should fit him (at 6 months even though he's big) cos thats a big gap, like there is a coat I want for him but he probs wont need it till Nov when he will be 8 months, so the 6-12 should fit him then? I am !!!!! at explaining what I mean lol

Blimmin' weather
Need to dry some washing i have no clothes!!
And not to mention the muddy-puddle-loving-pooch who is all nicely white and groomed and now she's gonna get minging straight away!0 -
And I thought that was part of an Mot, but I'm not sure.
It is. I had to take the baby seat out for our MOT last week so they could check the seatbelts.redmel1621 wrote: »Hello, and an extra big Hello to 3:)
Awwww, thanks Mel. I feel special now.Just spent all night grooming the dog cos i bathed her earlier and her fur was matted behind the ears so i've chopped it out. Want to take her to a proper groomer but they charge about £30 don't they? I wouldn't mind but whenever i chop her fur it grows back in about a week lol!
Our Springer costs £27 for his summer hair-do! Totally cropped all over, bathed, dried, nails trimmed and flea treated.
He got done in March, and it's made a huge difference to the amount of hair balls I find around the house. And it's so short, it'll probably take til September for him to look normal again.
His ears drive me mad when they're long, they get matted and coated in dinner/water.
Morning all.
Hugs Kindof
GISI I love your red wedding dress.
SS Bummer for your bed.
My phone is broke - half the buttons aren't working. I've borrowed OH's old one for now, but just checked online and i'm due for upgrade anyway.
What do I do? I'm incapable of making a decision myself? Do I get an I-phone?, or a really pretty blackberry because it's purple? Would i-phone owners recommend it? OH has one and loves it - but he's a gadget freak anyway.
On a happy note, i've just had the most[STRIKE] impractical [/STRIKE]gorgeous shoes delivered from the French Connection sale. :j:beer:0 -
grrr, just wrote a long post on my phone and then it ate it
. Never mind, it was just whinging moaning stuff about lack of sleep...:o
3, FWIW DH loves is Blackberry and says while iPhones are very cool he prefers the Blackberry because it has actual buttons he can push rather than a touchscreen. I have a touchscreen Nokia and admit they can be a bit faffy.
