Gisi where do you find out about donating expressed milk? I have about 40, 10 oz bags sitting in the freezer in excess...

Andrea - There is some information here.

    And well done GISI!!

    Hello everyone else. x

Well, I took Holly to be weighed today as I haven’t had her done for about 6 weeks, and I really feel in the past few days that she has suddenly stretched and gotten heavier! Arrived at the centre, only to find it was cancelled today for the election tomorrow. And I have arranged a meeting at work for next Wed afternoon about possible new job, so that’ll be another 2 weeks then.

Went shopping, and on the way home, I had a parcel to collect from sorting office. Of course I could tell that Holly had dirtied her nappy so thought I will leave her in the car outside. When I got there, the queue was out the door and no parking spaces, so I had to park up the street and walk 5 mins carrying wee stinky poo. I was collecting a canvas that DH had ordered of Holly for his Gran. I had no ID so figured if they needed it, I would get them to open parcel and point at Holly! Luckily I didn’t need it as after I struggled carrying a big canvas and a smelly baby back to the car and drove home, we opened it up and lovely as the baby in the picture is, she isn’t Holly!!!

I was just trying to imagine my embarrassment if I pointed to Holly saying “recognise her from the picture, she’s my ID” when the baby in the picture had a dark Mohican! On the plus side, I discovered that Holly likes bubble wrap. She was going wild in the back of the car trying to get at it as it was in the back seat with her.

Right, I had better get to bed. Holly wouldn't settle so I have been amusing her tonight and helping DH get organised for tomorrow as he is working at a polling station and isn't allowed to leave. It's a long day, so I need to make sure he gets up at 5.15. He won't be home until about midnight I think, so I might need to take him over some dinner!

Night anyone who is still awake. x

Just spent all night grooming the dog cos i bathed her earlier and her fur was matted behind the ears so i've chopped it out. Want to take her to a proper groomer but they charge about £30 don't they? I wouldn't mind but whenever i chop her fur it grows back in about a week lol!

I wonder if a furminator would help with the matting, i don't even know what they are but they've been mentioned here and on a springer forum i was reading. Are they really about £30?!

I have a furminator for the cats Beenie. It takes all the dead undercoat out and you wouldn't believe how much comes out. I thought my cats should of been bald!!

Mine was only £10 including p&p on amazon

Ah cool thanks i might get one. I've just got a wire brush which she doesn't mind on her floppy ears but she hates me brushing her back with it. I'm sick to death of all the hair though, she's moulting big time. I swept the floors earlier and had 2 dustpans full of fur. Then i bathed her and had to unclog the plug 4 times, and i've had another load by brushing her. Shoulda got a poodle, they don't shed do they?! lol!

Yeah but poodles look ghey :rotfl:

Honestly you'll wonder where all the hair is coming from once you use it on the pooch! I had a bin bag full of hair from 10 minutes on each cat, and more was still coming out but my hands were getting sore :p

My carpet is a state with hair. Have you got laminate?
