Back again, just collected Erin.
Well shoot me down but I'm not much of a career person, more of a job to earn the money person. No ambitions as we weren't brought up with any. Being thick, stoopid, fat and ugly meant you were a no hope in that department so I'm no help. Thought I might working in the bank but OH's job needs so much commitment and childcare here is almost non-existent so I took a step back and I'm really not bothered at the moment. We were talking about how different our lives would be if we had moved into a town as originally planned, but here the standard of living for the kids outweighs our benefits.Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
So Susan is the Chemist... *makes mental note for when stupid chemistry stuff is hurting my head*

I don't know many people that do 'decide on careers' actually. Most folk just bound along til they find a job they like/can stand to do and work at it.
I certainly don't work for the love, I do it for the money to afford to do the things I love.
Work is a means to an end for me. A career will not complete me.
The single most important thing to me in life is POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE, I believe I can face anything and do anything and achieve anything I want in life as long as I look at things positively.
I believe being negative is damaging.
There's another long rambling answer that doesn't tell you anything!0 -

I saw a red one the other week (in my lunch hour) and even I had a good old stare!! I felt like shouting 'I've got one of those at home!!!'
I saw my first RL one (other than yours) yesterday, in green. And I did stare.
I'm so having one next time!
Gisi OH will be 30 next month - and he said when he first started training, for the first time ever he felt like the old one! :rotfl:
On the subject - any ideas what you buy for the OH for his 30th?:beer:0 -

After working at some crappy jobs to pay to do up houses I became the most successful in our family, my sister reckons my Mum's jealous, I do hope so.Stoopid woman doesn't realise that being here doesn't actually make me happy, my sister lives in a 3bed council house and I would say she's a much happier person than me so I would therefore rate successfullness on happiness not income . So don't be thinking about uni and all that if it seems too much. You've always said about being a teaching assistant for which you don't need qualifications. 1st step volunteer at Zoe's school and get some experience for a morning a week, that's your foot in the door.

It's in his lymph nodes, not in his lungs or bone marrow... 10 weeks of chemo on a 3day 1day cycle... Tumour may be removed in about 12 months... No plans to remove his arm...
This type has a less than 50% survival rate, but we're hoping it is because of late detection and we're praying it's been caught early enough... If it was spreading, they would remove the limb first so the fact they don't plan to is good...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
