Has anyone seen / got baby socks with non-slip things on the soles, bought from a shop (not ordered online)? Am trying to avoid delivery charges for such a small thing! :cool:
We have some...I think they are Sainsburys...def either Sainsburys or Tesco.
I very nearly bought Benjamin a little England strip today whilst I was buying a babba-lead for my boy but then I thought I don't know what size he will be in by June/JulyCharlotte dropped a bit of potato off her fork into her gravy, and the gravy splatted all over her chin. She said "oh, look what Charlotte's done. What a minger" :rotfl:
Took my own stuff to decorate the tables too. They were round tables and I bought some thin and elegant glass candlesticks with some thin lilac dinner candles and each table had a group of three different height candlesticks in the centre. Then the hotel cleared away and managed to break one, so I've only got two in my set
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Charlotte cracks me up!!
I decorated my own tables too - I bought round mirror tiles from Ikea and put 3 thick pillar candles of different heights in the middle of them. I then sprinkled leaf skeletons in silver and pale blue around the bottom. They looked beautiful and I think it cost me about £4 per table.ladybirdintheuk wrote: »Why is there never anything on tv when I am home alone and in charge of the remote

Speaking of baths, its been weeks and weeks since Amber got steady sitting up, so why did only occur to me last night to let her sit in the bath?
She loved it.
DH and I had a bit of a... disagreement this morning after he decided that I was going to tesco on my own while DS2 was at nursery and he was going to stay in bed. I ended up sitting Amber on the bed and telling him 'deal with it', he was not amused :cool: Off I went to tesco, sat down with a cooked breakfast and a coffee and a paper (bliss), shopped, collected DS2 and expected him to be in a right mood when I got back.
However, he was happy. Why was he happy? Because he made Amber lunch of a chocolate spread sandwich0 -

Wedding tables - I got all the bits myself, and left the venue in charge of putting it out - we bought a job load of vases and some flower stems from the florist, so we just had one flower in each vase, then had some sparkly confetti stuff and the table label/name thingies were just printed out on our clapped out printer, and put in some tesco value picture frames! We didn't worry about who sat in which chairs, except on the top table, so I didn't worry about that bit.
I think weddings only need to be as complicated as you want them to be. Most of the "details" no-one is going to notice but you (well... they will notice them, but unless you spend all day moaning about it, no-one will know that the napkins aren't really the colour you wanted)
