    Hi everyone

Since having a baby, I cry at all sorts of things. The old man across the road has just been taken into hospital (he's been poorly for a long time) by ambulance. I was stood at the window waving to DH when he went out (I'm sad like that :D), saw the old man's wife waiting by the ambulance so I opened the window to speak to her. As I told her to knock on our door if we could do anything, my eyes started welling up :o

Glam - glad you got the playmats.]

Elle - got a few things to say to you :D. Firstly, yay on getting rid of one of the consultants, that's great news. Another thing is that those socks that Caz mentioned are £1.50. I got some for Caitlin's stocking for Xmas but she seems to have really dinky feet and they're still too big for her. My sister bought Caitlin some similar ones from Tesco (but they were white whereas the Dunnes ones are a mix of colours). They were a bit like terry towelling fabric and I think they were £1.50 for 3 pairs. I don't know if they still have them though, as she bought them before Caitlin was born.

MFD - thank you for your advice earlier. You are right when you mentioned a face-to-face meeting would be better and that's what the nursery have suggested. I initially emailed them as we were going to be out and about a lot today, then with the bank holiday and I didn't want to discuss it with them whilst I was at work, I thought it was better to make the initial contact sooner rather than later. Nursery phoned me anyway and suggested that I go in to see the manager, deputy manager and C's keyworker when I pick Caitlin up next Wednesday (that's the next time I'll be going to nursery), so I'm happy with that. I'll report back when I've been in.

SJ was it (DR) Mrs M that did it? If so, you could search and read my own personal smear/coil horror story at her hands! If not we shoudl both change doctors before we need them removing!

Well done Ladybird and Izzy - long may it continue!

Elle - I knew there was something else in your post I was going to comment on! I've got a packet of nappies here that I only said a couple of hours ago to DH that I wanted to exchange at Tesco. Hope they still allow me to exchange without a receipt. I think I actually bought them at Sainsburys, but either way, I haven't got a receipt for them anymore. As soon as we receive the credit card bill, we check off the receipts and any that aren't needed for guarantees, we shred.

Yes MM it was the same Mrs M. I remember you said what'd happened to you and seems my story is very similar. I only remembered your advice about taking paracetamol before I went whilst I was lying knickerless on the bed though. Hmph.

I am sincerely hoping that the removal will be easier / quicker / less painful.
