    Will do Susan.

Yeah I had a smear first of all - 32b ignore this next bit - that was the bit that hurt although I've had 2 or maybe 3 before and they never hurt

SS I can't believe they dropped your cake  (And can't believe they never apologised or paid for it - barstuards)

Tara, if you see this, if you have anyone coming from anywhere near me to your wedding let me know, I can always send the "Christening" cupcakes with them ;-)

Beenie tell her it was lack of sleep last night and your mind is elsewhere! i bet she gets it all the time though!

KOAG they are massive lol! my OHwas killing himself laughing and then looked at me and said no way lol! imagine asking your neighbour to look after your rabbit they would crap it seeing that!

I ended up with 3 wedding cakes from M&S each was 3 tiers, the first was out of date! the second was the wrong colour and the 3rd was delivered the night before so the icing was still soft! They even refunded the cost of the cake and paid for the 3rd one to be sent in a taxi to my mums lol! every cake was eventually eaten(even the OOD one)

Charlotte dropped a bit of potato off her fork into her gravy, and the gravy splatted all over her chin. She said "oh, look what Charlotte's done. What a minger" :rotfl:

I made my own wedding cake and iced it, and transported it up to Scotland and it was fine!

Took my own stuff to decorate the tables too. They were round tables and I bought some thin and elegant glass candlesticks with some thin lilac dinner candles and each table had a group of three different height candlesticks in the centre. Then the hotel cleared away and managed to break one, so I've only got two in my set :(

It was Easter when we married, so I sprinkled the table centres with star shaped foil confetti and tiny pastel foil coloured chocolate eggs. It looked really good and the children enjoyed collecting all the eggs up afterwards :D

Hellllllllp...am trying to finally cash in on GISI's Vertbaudet thingee from the last thread to get Sophie changing bag. Can't find when it ends/ended (GISI, does your mag ad say??) but the code seems to work for adding the "free gift" to my order but won't take off £10. Thing is, not even the code from the main website (£10 off WYS £20 plus free del) works either. Stuff in basket is not happy price or on sale, I've triple-checked. Anyone know what gives?

It doesn't have an end date on there, so can't help I'm afraid.

My Mum ordered her buffet food from M&S (all pre-cooked, laid out on platters etc) and it didn't arrive in time! Cue a huge nightmare, especially as Mum is veggie so a lot of the stuff that they stock in store wasn't suitable. In the end they got all their buffet food free plus a case of champagne, but they did have to rope guests in to cook and lay out the food for them.

SJ I've had the smears before it's usually just uncomfortable but i have noticed that if the doc is stressed(busy waiting room etc) it hurts, best to get an early appointment, although at my new docs they have a smear clinic so hoping they are pro's at it! fingers crossed.

Just need a kick up the bum to get an appointment, think i've developed a phobia of doctors. Think i will ask a friend to come with me.

My boy won't stop trumping, he's gonna blow away at this rate!!!!

AWW !!!! sake think i just broke the lappy again, GRRRR

Just been on Facebook and my ex has announced his engagement to his girlfriend. Am I being unreasonable thinking he should have told the boys first before announcing it to the world?

Dunno what to do now - should I tell the boys, let them find out for themselves if they go on Facebook or leave it up to him to tell them?

Becles, for the sake of the boys I would send him a message asking him to tell them ASAP before the see that everyone else knows before them. That way you tried and if they take it bad, he's the bad one not you.

I had a bad smear once. I'd gone to a drop in clinic near my work and it hurt loads then afterwards I bled lots so ended up going to my docs who said that the nurse at the drop in clinic must have been too rough . Never went there again and haven't had any problems since.

If you were in a position to do so, I would ring the ex and congratulate him and remind him politely that he has two sons who should probably be told by him and not have to find out elsewhere. Thats just me though and I cant remember if you 'get on' with your ex sorry hun.
