Has anyone seen / got baby socks with non-slip things on the soles, bought from a shop (not ordered online)? Am trying to avoid delivery charges for such a small thing!

elle I can't help on where to buy them but I do recommend them, we have no carpets in our downstairs and they really help fergie not slip over on the floors :)

We got some from Sainsburys but they do fall off easily so we use them with sock-ons.

I was really naughty once and wore my own wedding dress to another wedding!

In my defence it is silver and I wore a black jumper over the top, so it was a silver skirt with black jumper combo :o
I think if it doesn't look like a wedding dress then it's okay. Don't think I'd get away with mine:

Omg. I've just had a proper ground swallow me please moment and can't stop cringing

Dropped DS off at Beavers. Woman comes over and talks to me and Amber. I'm thinking hey she's familiar... maybe she was here last week or something. But Amber smiled and she was like oooh there's the girl i know.

I'm thinking eh. Then she was talking about doing scouting and her childcare qualifications. And i go "oh do you do it (childcare) for a day job like"

She pauses for a min confused and is like yeah i've weighed Amber plenty... and i'm like OMG i'm such a moron, i've sat and chatted with her for ages about breastfeeding cos she runs the support group.

Argh. I feel like a moron. I just totally didn't expect her to be there in that different setting.
