Lily is now on hungry baby milk at night times as she was waking up loads for feeds and not going back to sleep for ages. Then wouldn't go down for naps well in the day and get ratty.
She's doing well, she's managing 5 hours between feeds and she has her normal Stage 1 milk during the day :)

Have my post natal check up nxt Thursday and i think Lilys jabs to.

I tried the cradle cap suggestions, she still has a bit so i bought some dentanox shampoo today to try. She likes having her hair washed so i'll wash her hair over the sink tomorrow :D
  • I love that dress, EA.

I think we should make an MSE cake chain from SJ to Tara. We could each transport the cakes a leg of the way. I'd be happy to do Southampton - Tara!

Molly is currently experiencing her first thunderstorm.

She is not liking it one bit. Can't blame her really, it's a very big one.

    EA love the dress!

    GISI that's a fab idea!

Whingy baby enjoyed the bath, and only just managed to feed as he was falling asleep so much. I'm wondering whether bringing bedtime forward just a little bit would help as it's like this most nights, or whether it'd just bring forward getting up time by the same amount. I really don't want that!

Thankyou for the offer Caz. I'll go check our stores first (need to go into town at some point this weekend anyway) and let you know :)

I'm so drained.. don't know what's up with me!

Just back from Asda. They won't exchange nappies without a receipt anymore :( Could have cooked the damn pizza in the time it took them to put the damn thing together for me! Still, I got carrot cake and chocolate so I'm a happy-ish bunny inside a tired body. Need to cook and eat pizza then I'm off for a long soak in the bath :)
  • Evening all. I hope everyone is ok (will read back in a mo). We've had a busy day today -messy play session at a sure start centre we'd not tried before, home for lunch, then back into town for errands (including a bonus discovery that one of my savings accounts had £220 more in it than I thought!), a play in the park, walk to the allotment to water, then a (very slow by that point) walk home again.

I wanted to share an achievement last night - won't boast too much, as I know some of your are still strugging with sleep, but I was very pleased with mysef (and Izzy of course). She woke herself up falling out of bed, asked for milk and had a minor moan when I said no. I offered her a drink of juice, which she downed (only a few nights ago that would have made the temper worse!), then a couple of minutes of hugging, and she climbed back into bed and went to sleep. We were probably not even up for 5 minutes. This is a great achievement compared to a week or two ago :)
