That happened at my friends wedding too - me and a couple of my friends were dancing, and couldn't understand why no-one else was, then near the end the DJ played the darkness and the happy couple got up to dance. After that everyone was on the dance floor and her dad had to pay the DJ to keep going for another hour. good thing we were in a marquee on his farm, and there were neighbours to complain really!

Oooh, love weddings!

I'm another one who had M&S cake. Can highly recommend! We had three teirs, hired a cake stand and bought ready made flower decorations. They stayed in their boxes during transit to Scotland and then assembled in the castle by my Mum. We cut the small top tier during the wedding, brought the two bigger ones back home and reassembled using another small tier for our 'evening do' a few days later .

All bouquets and button holes were made in silk flowers so they would travel well too and also be used a few days later .

Wedding dress was designed by me and bridesmaids designed theirs between them as they are all different shapes and sizes :cool:. Lovely recommended ex-tailor made them for a fraction of shop prices.
